Why didn't you use avocado oil to initially season? is it because if you use too high of a smoke point the sides will never get seasoned because the sides can't reach that smoking point of say 500+?

any one with a high Smoke point, That being said I like Avocado oil but the cheaper alternative is Crisco Pure Canola oil.

I think chuck roast is a cut that doesn’t receive the credit it deserves. In my area I used to be able to find brisket for $40, now the cheapest I find are up in the $70+, meanwhile a good size chuck roast i can buy it for $27. When done right it can be an amazing thing that won’t empty your bank account.

Yeah when I made this Chuck roast was a great Substitute! But as Brisket prices went up and more and more so did the cost of Chuck roast which is actually more expensive (or the same price) as Brisket now :( It was a fun little secret for a while!! LOL

Finally found a video for the smoker griller not the airless fryer. Thanks for the tip on low first hour and high second hour. All other videos said high the whole time which burnt the skin. Grilling on now for Thanksgiving lunch, hope this does the trick!

Bacon on a griddle must go low and slow, at least in the beginning so it can render its fat before it starts burning. Use different temperature zones on the cooktop.

Put that against a Kamado Joe or a Big Green Egg and taste the difference , expensive against expensive . Oh yeah !!! I cooked a 13 pound brisket on a Texas offset barrel smoker with my home made rub for 12 hours and you could shread it with a fork , it was really tender and juicy . I made it for a party and everyone loved it !

I get that question a lot. Unfortunately It came as a bundle when i bought a all in one pan off QVC. They don't make the pan or the combo anymore. The handle is connected by 2 screws from the underside. Instead of counter sinking them they left the heads(of the screws) protruding so it didn't lie flat?? it was expensive as well (QVC had a 3 month pay out with no interest or I wouldn't have gotten it) there are many good deals on Amazon that cost 1/3 as much. (with flat bottoms lol) sorry I cant help more

Don't buy this kit unless you are sure you want to keep it. I requested a return for my kit and the company provided a return address. I shipped back my kit at my own expense and since then the company completely ghosted me. It's been 3 months since I shipped my kit and they are not getting back to me and. I ended up paying $490 (duty and shipping fees) for an item i no longer have in my possession. You have been warned.

Not a bad recipe, but man its hard to watch you..your music is 3x as loud as your voice.,and you sure come across as hating what your doing. No energy or excitement at all..but ham looks good. My tip is get a remote mic. To wear and stand up on the kitchen counter..

Or maybe a rigid vinyl? The structure I built is still standing. (I live in West Texas where we regularly have 20 to 50 mph winds. (the covering I put on didn't last but the structure has.) Not sure you can still get these anymore.

Ground round is less than 10% fat. Not great for burgers but ok. Just less flavorful. Ground chuck is around 19% fat and is great for burgers. Try cutting potatoes in about 1/2" to 3/4" squares, throw them in a plastic contain with butter, garlic, salt, and pepper. Put a lid on it and shake it around to mix. Then toss the potatoes on the grill with a little oil. I usually leave the potato skin on too. Delicious!!! So many things you can do with this grill. I have the 22" for my RV.
