i'm currently doing the tandem read and i'm loooooving it!! it took me like 150 pages to get invested in the characters but now i'm in the "it's 3am and i can't stop reading" phase hahahaha

Thank you. I read the silent patient, but I haven’t read the maiden’s. I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars too. Alex Michealides is becoming one of my favorite authors.

I thought this book was ok. Overall I enjoyed the story, or what I think the story was trying to do, but I didn’t think Lottie and Marigold had much chemistry. I gave this book 2.5/5 stars. That being said, I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a sapphic love story that doesn’t get raunchy/smutty.

I listened to it and the audiobook didn’t seems to match up to her audiobooks. If I had read in with my eyes, I think it would’ve been a different opinion.

For me it's a 4/5 too it's not ground breaking or out of the ordinary, a quick read I finished it in one day, it is enticing for sure, I just hope that it gets better the next books

I think that since the book is so easy to read it’s a strength to the series. It’s not so dense that people aren’t going to pick it up. On the other hand, I’ve heard the others are good but lots of world building takes place but I haven’t picked them up yet.

I just finished the book, and I definitely enjoyed it. My favorite part was time that she spent with her grandmother learning to be the honey witch. I thought it was a cozy fantasy up until the climax- it went way too dark for my taste and completely changed the tone of the book; that is the reason I’m giving it 4/5 stars. Thanks for your review!

Completely agree. It felt over hyped and underwhelming. Hate to say that I was expecting more from this book and ultimately didn't enjoy it.
