I broke my tracking and was wondering if I could fix it do I need to buy a new controller

Hello, how do I know that the screen is broken since they sent me one that turns on, everything is heard fine but nothing is seen, not even a light, but if I open the cell phone it is visible on the screen but not in the viewfinder.

I am closer to the novice side; however, I do build computers. As far as taking things apart I do look for videos for troubleshooting. I never take something apart. But to me, that is poorly designed. When I first got the Quest 2. I saw how expensive it was to replace the hand grips. So I baby them. Nice video !!

It honestly looks like, that in the original design there was a hole there. But then somewhere in the design, the board layout was changed and the overall design and form of the board wasn't changed.

this is why, when taking things apart, ALWAYS REMEMBER WHERE THE SCREWS CAME FROM! If you have poor memory, mark the screw holes in some fashion

I dont know how people can neglect their appliances like this. You should see peoples phones taken out of the case. The amount of dirt buildup and oils and skin flakes they let build up is nasty. Its even worse when they have a screen protector built into the case because it ends up behind the protector snd gets really nasty.

Sadly the quest 2 is the quest one in every way but 1 way everything inside the quest 1 is inside the quest 2 the only thing that is different is the chipset, the reason the wuest 3 is actually good is because they upgraded everything because they had to with the different design
