Besides childcare benefits, I heard about rental benfits from the govt. Can you say something on that please? Also, do children get free education here?
@Chashuvlogs
@Chashuvlogs 3 күн бұрын
Hi.. While there is a Canada Housing Benefit, I believe it might not be active anymore. However, when calculating your eligible Child Care Benefit amount, the total rent you've paid for your primary residence is considered as a deduction in the net income calculations. I'm currently working on a new video with detailed CCB calculations and will keep you posted. Regarding free education for children, yes, it is free for all. Check out this video about school education: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sLtxed2k1LetZo0.htmlsi=jNSsYOlVUWQ30cd9

I am here in canada on work permit, my daughter came along with me as depended. Later, after 5month my husband also joined here on work permit. Am I eligible for CCB from my 19th month of staying? Do I need to apply as family or only I have to show my income proof as she is my dependent.
@Chashuvlogs
@Chashuvlogs 3 күн бұрын
Hi, Yes, you are eligible for CCB after 18 months. In the following calendar year, you and your husband (if he has started earning) will need to file your income tax by the end of April. When you do, the CCB amount will be automatically calculated, and you'll have the option to apply. It's best to disclose both incomes, as the benefit amount is based on your family's net income.

Can you please send the dimensions of the stroller, confused lil bit if the stroller fit in cabin over head bin or not
@Chashuvlogs
@Chashuvlogs 8 күн бұрын
Hi, The airline will collect your stroller just before you board the flight and store it in their luggage section. You will have your stroller right up to the flight entrance door (not just the boarding gate), and they’ll return it to you at the flight door as soon as you deboard. So, the dimensions of the stroller don’t matter since it won't be going in the overhead bin or the cabin. Hope this helps! Ask me if you have any questions. Happy to help you :)

For monthly salary 3500 dollar. How much tax sir???
@Chashuvlogs
@Chashuvlogs 8 күн бұрын
Hi, For a monthly salary of $3,500 in Ontario, your annual income will be $42,000. Annual federal tax = $6,300, Provincial tax = $2,100. So your net income will be $42,000 - $6,300 - $2,100 = $33,600 per annum, and $2,800 per month. Deduct around $200 for the pension plan and insurance for a conservative estimate, so you will get approximately $2,600 per month. This is an approximate calculation.

@Chashuvlogs
@Chashuvlogs 21 күн бұрын
Hi! Thanks for your comment. Yes, kindergarten is part of elementary education, and it is indeed funded by the government. Most provinces offer free full-day kindergarten for children starting at age 4 or 5. To enroll your child in kindergarten, you typically need to register at your local school. You'll need to provide proof of your child's age (such as a birth certificate), proof of residency, and immunization records.

Hi. We got PR recently & will be moving to Canada with our toddler & infant in Oct! I wanted to ask about child benefit. When do we start receiving it? Some say it’ll be given after 1.5 years while some suggest to apply it once we reach canada.
@Chashuvlogs
@Chashuvlogs Ай бұрын
Hi! Congratulations on getting your PR and your upcoming move to Canada. For the Canada Child Benefit (CCB), you can apply as soon as you arrive in Canada since you are a permanent resident. You don't have to wait until you've filed a year of income tax. Once your application is processed and approved, you'll start receiving the monthly payments. If you are a temporary resident, you need to have lived in Canada for 18 months and have a valid permit in the 19th month to be eligible. But since you are on PR, you can apply as soon as you land.

Hi... Thank you so much for your kind words and for following my videos. I'm glad they're helping you plan your move. Regarding Burlington, it is pretty far from Toronto, taking at least one hour driving each side, even without traffic. Everything else is great with Burlington, including schools and condos, which you will find conveniently. Mississauga, being closer to Toronto, might be a better option for commuting. Both cities have their perks, but if you ask me, rent-wise, there's not much difference. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask more questions.

See this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rpeAp5uYzL6rlHU.htmlsi=ywH0RIjBOxYBg6tF CAD 80,000 salary should be good for a family of 3 to live comfortably in a 1 bedroom house. Cost of Living: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gpyZZZZjnJyvZ2g.htmlsi=kyw457NzBgAWtP-h Lastly, you can search for rent house via agents, they won't charge you any money and they will show you properties of your interest. You will many agents once you come here. I hope this information is useful. November will be cold in Canada, so come prepared with sufficient jackets.

Hi.. Thank you for your comment. April will still be cold with temperatures going down to -1 or -2. Max will be around 15 -18 deg, best case. Assuming you will be coming for the first time, I highly recommend you to bring Winter clothes (including gloves & caps). However, during flight journey, you don't need anything special. Just your regular clothing is sufficient. Wear something comfortable because you will be sitting in flight for really long hours. You only need jackets when you are coming out of Canada's airport. Hi... We are doing good. How are you all and How's Canada? Regarding Apartment hunt, there are websites like this one: rentals.ca/. But, when you reach out to people via such websites, you will realize they are basically realtors. So my suggestion is (1) first find a realtor. He/she will help you find a home by sending you listings, book visits etc. The realtor will have all the database. Finding a realtor is easy, just put one post on facebook group, you will get lot of messages. Or contact people on rentals.ca and you will find a realtor. (2) Visit apartments and note down the contact number of their offices. Call them during work hours and they will book your visiting. Apartments are managed by their office and hence only the office will help you best. Even google for apartments near you, you will find their numbers.
