I actually think he shrinks them. When she makes it out at the end you can see a giant notebook and chair in the bottom right corner. It looks like she is running through the little maze he was building.

Fact: Willem Dafoe did play max schreck in the documentary movie of Nosferatu (1922) called "shadow of the vampire " (2000).

Not exactly a documentary. Apart from seriously libeling F W Murnau, it's a really great take on a "what if" where Max Shreck (Dafoe's character and the bloke who actually played Orlock) actually was a vampire. Serious fun ensues.Highly recommended.

Is it quiet or are do you prefer willful ignorance? ;) lol I've seen a VAST array of reviews, including many Praising this project. One article suggested that this one "classed up" the Quiet Place series, although you're likely the type to chalk that up to "wokism" I'd bet. ;) lol Reviews are mixed but mostly Strong and, again, a few declaring that this is their favorite of the bunch. The reveling in the thought of this particular film being bad I find quite questionable, including from the creator of this page who apparently is giddy by it. Lol Who's.

@@robinvolpi i mean movies like all forms are art is subjective. Just different types of horrors aren’t for everyone. I think also the marketing for this movie played it up to be a scary horror driven when in fact in a human story about life, acceptance of our mortality and what it really means to live for something. I hate the term woke, it’s used so much it’s lost meaning and i don’t like when it used just because someone doesn’t praise a movie paid critics love. I don’t tell folks how to view things i just want create a space to discuss a genre i love

So that you don't have to... 🙄 May I suggest getting the BIGGEST Grip. ;) Your character is up for question when you allow the opinions of a stranger w/a platform (who comes w/her own distinct tastes along w/potential biases &/agendas) to dictate your own interests. Lol Although from your tone, you likely weren't very interested to begin with. ;) Just here make witless quips about a project that you likely had your own biases toward... whatEver the reason may be. Speaking of character, or lack thereof, the creator of this page "liking" ignorant remarks is.... interesting, to say the least.

Nothing is more melodramatic than someone relaying, in a reaction video comments section, that they aren't going to see with the reviewed product - based upon ONE individuals opinions, and with unnecessary snark to boot. 😬💆🏽‍♀️ What did this fuquing movie do to YOU, Poindexter?? Great review Nadia, this movie was great in theaters. I fully bought into this family, and so many great touches to add tension. So much so that I forgot to look around at how much the world building doesn't make any sense. There's enough good in this to let me ignore most of the problems.

Great review. Rewatching this movie for MMM recently I did not like it as much as I did when seeing it years ago. The sound design is fantastic and the Chemistry between Blunt and Kransinki is great. If you rewatch it and pick apart the plot though so many things dont make sense and the daughter was hate able and caused most of the problems lol . I am glad you enjoyed it though.

Hey Nadia, just found your channel & have subbed. A few thoughts: Practical effects rock. Totally with you on The Thing, such a great movie. I'm a huge fan of the original Alien and Aliens movies - wasn't impressed with 3rd movie so I was kind of out after that, though the A:Romulus does look intriguing. Yeah, massive nope to porcelain dolls. Nosferatu, I'm kind of wary because the original is one of my all time favourite pieces of cinema so the bar is pretty high for this one, but that said I'll wait and see how it's received and decide from there.

Hey HallowWen! Thank you for the sub! Agree with you on all of it, and I'm with you. Nosferatu the original is the GOAT and is a piece of cinema history regardless its genre but I think its in good hands with Eggers having loved his body of work.
