Hi yall! Glad to have come across your vlog I’ve already been binge watching your videos all morning lol! Question! On a good day is solar enough to keep batteries charged or replenished while running the A/C? Not sure if I missed this but were you guys running the ac unit AND the front ac while on idle? Also Do you know moreless what the negotiation discounts run at? We’re actively looking for a touring AWD in blue grey which is hard to locate but were wondering about what negotiation prices a running at for a new one.
@LivinRVision11 сағат бұрын
Welcome! 🧡 The solar doesn’t do much to be honest, nor do you really need it to, because the batteries are so robust that they last a very long time, even with the AC running constantly. We’ve done a few videos talking about the battery life, one in particular was when we were in Des Moines and I was working remotely in 100° temps by myself downtown Des Moines. The batteries on the newer models now last even longer than those did. If you were ever to need to charge them when Boondocking, you can either drive or let the coach idol and it will charge them. We haven’t seen any other rv that comes from factory with batteries that last as long. We have not heard of what these are selling for at a dealership. Sorry we couldn’t be of more help with that, but maybe some others that have purchased will chime it with their experience purchasing new.

I’m watching your videos of the Utah Nat’l Parks on the 4th of July while camping in Maine. Awe inspiring. Going to these parks in Sept. and you have made us even more excited to enjoy the beauty of this beautiful country of ours.

Thanks for bringing us this Wizard of Oz Museum! It looked so well done. We’ll definitely stop here if we’re in the area. You do a wonderful job, Brian with your videography & explanation of what you’re filming. Hope your birthday was as special as you are, Michelle. Your birthday pie & ice cream looked incredible. That was my kind of cinnamon roll! Continued safe travels ❤️

How do you stay slim Michelle eating all those pies? Lol We love Colorado. I’m still amazed that you still full time in the Gretch. We are in a small 17mke but don’t think I could go smaller, but vans are convenient!
@LivinRVision2 күн бұрын
She eats the pie and gives me the calories. Lol The larger 24’ van like the Strada-ion that we’ve been living in helps. The shorter versions would be harder for sure.

We bought that Osprey pack in march for a trip to New Zealand for 20 days. Wonderful pack and flattens nicely in suitcases. Now have the other version too.

I notice that you don’t carry your E bikes anymore, why is that? Thanks…
@LivinRVision4 күн бұрын
Because we were never getting time to use them. Every weekend when we were filming, it would never involve using the e-bikes. So we figured we may as well put them in storage instead of then being something else to worry about.

I agree that we often look beyond our state for interesting places to visit instead of exploring what’s right in our backyard. It's great that you've chosen to highlight a location in Iowa. Many people think Iowa is just flat and full of corn, but it’s actually a beautiful state. Great video! ❤

I had the opportunity to visit Maquoketa Caves last summer on a trip to visit my daughter who lives in Dubuque. Another state park to visit in the area is Bellevue State Park, That is we where camped for the week I was there. Bellevue State Park has two parts. The camping area is called the Dyas Unit Campground and the other area is known as the Nelson Unit. From an overlook in the Nelson Unit you can see the Mississippi River and a dam with a lock. I am looking forward to next summer when I head out that way to visit again.

@LivinRVision5 күн бұрын
Yes we did!I was telling Michelle that when I seen it at first, I thought it was either my breathe or heat from my body. It was neither…I tried a few times to see my breath over the camera and not once would it do it, but the vapors would keep happening.

This video was well done. I believe the placement of the mic on the shoulder made a difference. It was hard to believe this was in Iowa. Enjoy the time with family.
@LivinRVision5 күн бұрын
Thank you! I noticed the mic was actually bad when I would turn my head. Having it directly under your chin on your chest seems to work best so that when you turn your head either way, the volume remains the same and so does the person beside you because they can be on either side that way.

A shout out to HHSP! One of our favorite parks here in Ohio. Have you guys stopped in NE Ohio? If you ever do I would love to host you at the Rock Hall and show you some of our favorite trails at Cuyahoga Valley NP. Thank you for your videos. I have been watching for a little over a year. Recently I went back to your debut video. You have maintained great quality in your videos since day one. Awesome work!

Iowa has many beautiful state parks. Unfortunately the state legislators have underfunded the parks for many years. There are millions of dollars of defered maintenance items 😢. At there were a few maps and signs even if they weren't always as helpful as they might be. Safe travels!
