Or is this book mostly just about sewing techniques for different fabrics etc? Because from this video to me it seemed like this book is also about garment construction. But if its just womenswear then it wouldnt be worth it to me, as im only interested in menswear

I don’t know if this answers your question but this is a standard textbook for design schools. So there are several editions of the same text. The difference will be the year published and any updates.
