I believe flags that originated with the language should use their flag to represent the language, for example: 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 for England 🇵🇹 for Portuguese 🇸🇦 for Arabic 🇮🇳 for Hindu 🇵🇰 for Pakistan 🇰🇵 for Korean 🇨🇳 for mandarin 🇭🇰/🇹🇼for Cantonese 🇿🇦 for Africaan 🇳🇱 for Frisian If there’s a question ask maybe u can teach me

How to create a problem when there isn't one to sell a solution. Most languages are named after the place where it was originated and using the flag of that place makes sense. But I speak german and I live in Mexico so you must change the german flag for inclusivity reasons.

This documentary is telling us that Iberia is Spain. Portugal is 350 years older than Spain. Some ancient settlements are preserved in Spain. But, more than likely these ancient peoples also lived in Portugal.

I think it all boiled down to one main reason: Why did people create language flags? For illustration, so that people can choose the language they know by identifying the name/the script and the flag that is the most known by them. It’s really simple, speaking of English you think about US and England,.... Although I do agree that languages arent the same as nationalities, but some must be kept simple otherwise we’ll mess up the whole point of illustrating languages in flags.

I think when we talk about English it’s *useful* to use either American or British flag. Why? So that it would show us, whether the autocorrection or the orthography checker follows the American or British vocabulary.

I'm Dutch and I detest the prinsenvlag. Not so much for its old original historic meaning but for its contemporary connontations: the Dutch Nazi Party "NSB". They proudly paraded the prinsenvlag in the 1930s and 40s and had this flag in their party emblem. If you walk around my country today carrying this flag, other than for historical reenactment purposes, you're a neo fascist-leaning individual. The flag is a dog whistle for any one with white supremasist aspirations. Last elections (november 22nd 2023) have been won by the PVV (Party for Freedom) [freedom my *ss!], which is an extreme rightwing nationalistic islamofobic anti-foreigner party. Its party symbol is a seagull, which coincedently was also the NSB - the good old Dutch nazi party - symbol on their posters too. PVV party members in our parliament have (had) the prinsenvlag hanging on the walls of their offices. They themselves have often been seen having a prinsenvlag lapel pin on their suits. So a seagull, a prinsenvlag and an extreme rightwing anti foreigner/islam stance... need I say more? The PVV doesn't even hide it. Our prinsenvlag has been hijacked by extreme rightwing people with a fascist leaning (to say the least) for almost one hundred years now. They think they are the true Dutch, but they are the traitors of our nation, like they have been in WW II. The prinsenvlag is stained - to put it mildly. If you don't believe me ask Anne Frank...

There's a country you missed in the combined English flag. It's Africa's most populous country with about 300 million citizens all of whom speak English as their only official language. Great work!

Actually I don’t think you realise what the value of this video is to us who are Geordie and those who either identify as Geordie or simply appreciate us, as who we are. I’ve always thought that industrial areas provided a huge cultural support system. The NE was one of those systems and anyone reading this aged over 50 old maybe will understand. The male workplace, for example, was a support network for younger lads who would get a ‘word’ from colleagues where they may have otherwise rejected parental input. This created, IMO, a very close knit community. Not forgetting the need for reliability for safety in a workplace😮. That and the shared language created a close knitted society. Youth these days probably wouldn’t appreciate what you have told us, which is sad. I loved your video. Thank you. I wish it could be shown in local schools. 🙏🏼

Eastern Frisian is considered highly endangered as it has like less than 10,000 speakers in Schleswig Holstein and Lower Saxony. Part of my ancestors were Platt speakers and I wouldn’t be surprised if some were Frisians too. I do find Frisian an interesting language as an Anglophone who also speaks German but I find all Germanic languages cool. Also my Dutch best friend has a the middle name Sjoerd and his fathers side of the family are all Frisians so I’ve heard that name for.

Bernabéu was so based, we should go back to his ways. Also, you just straight up lied about the non-white Atlético team performing better than the fully white Real Madrid team. During the 70s Real Madrid won the league 5 times (6 if you count the 79/80 season) while Atlético won the league 3 times. Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey 3 times (4 times if you count the 79/80 season) while Atlético only won it 2 times. So you're just lying, the lesson is actually that you SHOULD have a fully white team lol. Also, correction, we have not won the Copa del Rey 40 times, we've only won it 20 times. But we have been in the final 40 times.

Does Dixie have anything to do with that? I live right next to the Mason-Dixon line and there's absolutely zero mentions of Dixie culture or music around here. I don't think "Dixie" and the "Dixon" in "Mason-Dixon" are related. I'm curious, did you assume that or did you read it somewhere? Lol
