I don't believe that target lost that money because moms Democratized wall street over a t shirt. That silliness. Target didn't report the loss do to Amazon over the years. However some black rock investors have some target and some have some Amazon. Some want some more target but want it cheaper. Who you gonna screw the hedge finders or the individuals. I don't know but I bet black didn't dump.. they shaved the individuals off and minimized the loss for target while maintaining a strong position. T shirts and mom where an excuse. May be huh?

2024 and I still can't believe that in 2003 I got one of those ninja loans. I had just got laid off and my wife had a decent job. We applied for a mortgage for a $275,000 loan (which we thought was insane. We thought NO WAY IN HELL WE GET THIS LOAN) Not only did we get the house with a good interest rate, they tried to sell us on a $400,000 house inside a gated community. We were in our house till 2020, never had a late payment. Looking back now we could have went with that $400,000 house and still managed fine and that house we passed on is now worth $2.5 million here in Northern CA. Ahhh, screw it. We got divorced anyway. She probably would have gotten the house in the divorce. Anyway, people who didn't live through it don't realize how Royally F'ed up the housing market was. They were legit handing loans out to anyone who could fog a mirror.

Hey Bridger, great video! I have a few questions though. My first question is can I do an LLC structure instead of the LP structure to create a hedge fund? The reason for this is I would like to have some individual clients once I pass the series 65 exam to become a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and manage clients' funds on a discretionary basis through a prime brokerage such as Schwab. This would allow me to build up a track record. Which I was thinking I would set up an LLC for that purpose, would I need to setup a separate LP just for the hedge fund or would I be able to use the LLC for the hedge fund as well? Maybe a LP is better for the individual client setup as well? I know what open and closed ended funds mean, but what is the pros and cons of doing an open vs closed ended fund with regards to a hedge fund? And lastly, would it be possible for me to create the LPA and PPM myself without paying a lawyer to do it? Thank you!
