@@reen6904yes and no. It’s more over how you want to make it with the very sparse information you are given. Ruins that exist but no explanation as to why and such. You determine why they were there and weave your own story

@@reen6904I believe they are describing the events of “The Great Dragon War” way back before the Hunters Guild and Hunters Laws were established, Humans and Wyverians lived separate lives many thousands of years before the events of the first Monster Hunter game and humans in the games lore, much like humans today IRL, didn’t care too much about the balance of nature and it’s forces and took whatever they needed to survive, not caring about how many monster lives were taken to better their own progression for their humanity. Wyverians tried to warn humans that they needed to stop killing and taking so much from the monster world but they didn’t listen to them or care for the most part. This then led humans to the construction of what they would’ve claimed as their ultimate display of power, but in reality would be their tragic downfall, and lead them to near extinction forcing humans and Wyverians to come together to reform humanity in a more balanced aspect, this structure we only simply know as “The Tower” and it was constructed out of the corpses of hundreds upon thousands of Elder Dragons, the amount of raw geo energy The Tower gave off we can only imagine was so immense it probably would’ve been able to power most cities across the world, but as we know with Monster Hunter, any area or structure that emits that kind of and amount of power only attracts greater threats and powers, therefor it was rumoured that the construction of The Tower is ultimately what caused the first Black Dragon, Fatalis, to be born into the world with nothing but spite towards the humans that ripped the balance of nature and power from IT’S world, and it was here that Fatalis would rally the forces of the Monster Hunter worlds Elder Dragons to retaliate in the events of The Great Dragon War which would nearly drive humans to extinction, and what humans were left in the onslaught would find and beg forgiveness from the Wyverians that tried to warn them so many times, it was then that Hunters Guild and “The Four Swords” or “Hunters Crest” were formed, the four symbols we know all with meanings, the highest symbol representing respect for nature, the left life as a community, the right prosperity from nature, and the bottom represents crafting from nature… and with the formation of the Guild a few small villages were established, where Wyverians and Humans would live together and grow with their world to better understand it and the Monsters that dwelled within its depths, one of those few villages was none other than Kokoto Village, the very beginning of Monster Hunter… I know I’m not 100% accurate to the actual lore here but it’s pieces with a little bit of my own beliefs mixed in, ultimately it’s our own beliefs that we can follow playing through this amazing series as the game gives us info on passed civilizations and ruins of such, but very littler clues on how they collapsed and fell into ruin, you carve your own hunters path and YOU forge their story…

Canon or not, Robin's marriage to Tiki is probably the only route that makes sense of Morgan's existence considering the memories of an older parent that they have and the power needed to jump timelines.

It was so enjoyable to even just walk around and talk to NPCs. Even with just four hunters allowed in the European version, it was really amazing to chill there with each other and talk in the limited voice and text chat 😬

if you are open to emulation there is a great community around this game that is currently working to bring all of this back. Jurther here on youtube is posting private server beta footage of multiplayer games happening right now. It's not publicly available, but you should either just search for Jurther on youtube or "Monster Hunter Tri multiplayer beta". Jurther has a link to the discord where you can get all that info if you're interested. Hoping to see you in Loc Lac brother.

@@coltontull3990 The best part is that it won't even require emulation, just a soft modded Wii/Wii U which is really easy to set up. And due to how the server works, it will be cross platform, including emulator.

Yes my friend. Emulation is great for these things of course but I would love an official port to current consoles

Funnily enough, I was doing the exact same thing 9 months ago (which is how old your comment is at the time I’m writing this). There will never be another Fire Emblem game quite like Awakening.

@@TheNitr01 Dang I just came back to this. Yeah, couldn't agree more, Awakening had that special spark that no other FE game seems to have been able to produce like it did. It will always be one of my Top 2 (or possibly 1st) favorite games of all time.
