The painting explained above is of 1935 Three girls on canvas. was painted in Shimla by Amrita ji and would like to share that the Three girls are my mother Beant kaur and her two sisters. The girl in the green suit is my mother who passed away in 1990 and lived to see all her grandchildren and one of them died very young and the girl at the back did not have any children . what Amrita ji saw during her travels is what she is has depicted in her painting . The Three girls were bubly girls as our girls at that age. painting was completed in one week with regular sessions. Do hope this information is useful. Best wishes

It's very enriching to learn about different artists through your channel and getting a peek into their lives and mind. It would be really great if you could also plug in some of the works of the artists that are being talked about in the conversation to be able to visually see and get a better context of the subject. Much appreciate your endeavour. It would be lovely if you could include more artists who follow sustainable art practices which I feel is rarely talked about. While the subject matter sometimes is about the ecology and the imbalance caused by human intervention but the medium per se through which the concept gets delivered may not be sustainable and I would really like to understand and learn as an art lover if there are different ways to create art which doesn't further cause this imbalance.

I mean..

Loved hearing this podcast and Veena gave quite a good gist and mix to the medium- clay, for whoever may want to experiment. Would have been great to hear her more, also hear her answering the questions without being interfered so often, sort of breaks the whole flow, just a feedback for the host to may be let people complete so that we in the audience can have an understanding of the full answer, thank you for bringing this episode to us :)
