I LOVED this catalogue when I was growing up. I used to read it from cover to cover and get completely lost in the stories. It whet my appetite for travel and exotic places and provided an amazing escape from an otherwise hard upbringing. It formed my tastes for elegant, simple styles with quality fabrics and a timeless aesthetic rather than falling for fast fashion and seasonal trends. I was disappointed to find out that Seinfeld made a habit of making fun of it. I thought the catalogue was wonderful. As a 12 year-old, it was pure magic.

I had a nervous breakdown earlier this year when I quit my two-decade-long abusive relationship with my job, as well. I was off work for about two months before returning to it. I haven't been with you at your channel following your journey for more than a month or two, but I am delighted to be here. Preferably, I would really like to win the stash of paper and ephemera, but if I don't win that, please excuse me from the other entries. Honestly, I have a ridiculous amount of journals, and I definitely don't need any more. Here's hoping that your mental health is doing better these days- I'm still in the funk of my breakdown a bit but I feel like it's getting a bit better every day.
