I use voice selfie, free APP on my android, works really well, you can the voice command to whatever you want with either front or rear camera. Flash also work with the front camera if you set it before taking the shot. I have this mounted on a tripod with a phone bracket. Had some great results. Light is key to any good photo, I always take day time photo with the sun infront of me. Carefully watching for shadows. Night time shots are more challenging, but a couple of rechargeable led white mini spotlights are helping. Might give the trakker light a go tho. Tight lines Kirk.

Hi mate how come you was able to fish 3 rods as the rules state 2 only thanks
@KirkGranger23 күн бұрын
Hi mate, I was told on the second day by another angler that as the lake was quiet we would be OK with two rods. I took his word for it, and in hindsight should have checked with the bailiff - you are right, summer rules do state two rods, interestingly you can fish 3 rods between November and March. Thanks pal
@Mancsinthevan23 күн бұрын
The unwritten rule is when the bailiffs goes home you can get your 3rd rod out. 😂

Good vid mate- is it barbed hooks only, it’s a bit unusual coz it’s usually barbless hooks only?

Yes mate, micro barbed only - agree it’s unusual with general fishing, but lots of carp lakes don’t allow barbless I’m finding.

I have a lake to recommend to you (my go to night water) called raker lakes on kingfisher lake. Good head of 20s and a few 30s in the mix. It’s a cracking lake and worth the travel the scenery is spectacular and brilliant vegetation around the lake safe place to spend the night. Bit of low lying weed when I last went down but will still catch in the weed. Last time open water did 4 bites for me biggest 18 smallest 15. Definitely worth a go mate and if you do fish it I recommend not using back leads as it means you aren’t submerging your line in the weed and it lays on top of it nicely which increases your chances of landing the fish. Also don’t ignore the margins but also tight to island works nicely you can use 3 rods there spodding only no bait boats. Get back to me if you are interested. I think it would make good content. Tight lines!

Doing a few nights on Yeadon Tarn any advice Kirk??
@KirkGranger2 ай бұрын
Nice one mate, I think location is absolutely key! Look for showing fish - shows tend to be dawn, then late afternoon to dusk. Lads doing well are feeding plenty of bait, lake pellet and a decent helping of boilies / boilie crumb. If you find them, you will catch them. Be prepared to move spots if you see fish, let me know how you get on mate.

Just found your channel great video ive fished the troutie a cpl of times i think its actually 37 acres but yea a very tricky water and its one u have to put in the groundwork i blanked on both occasions too but have learned a lot what pegs do best at certain times i think depth plays a huge part the carp dont seem to come from the deeper areas ive saw two 40lb plus carp being caught and they were not out at distance cheers fella enjoyed the video tightlines on your next adventure
