I felt Vigo was the first stop we were actually able to see any of! The weather being better helped also. I did like Vigo.

Most of the booths at the terminal accept Norwegian cash, but we prefer cards. It's so much easier. We are bound by law to accept cash in Norway, but as technology has evolved, and there are so many alternatives to payment, we hardly ever use it anymore. I work for the CityTrain Sightseing in Haugesund, and the prices we operate with are NOK 320 for adults, 150 for children (age 3-15), and 750 for a family (2+2). This would be around £24 for adults, £11-12 for children, and £56-57 for a family. Cash is a bit more, as adults then cost NOK350, or about £26. We, the CityTrain, accept Norwegian Krone, or any form of debit- or creditcard payment, including Apple- and GooglePay. The Norwegian prices are fixed, so there is no hidden fees from us. What is displayed on the Zettle terminal we use, is what you pay us. If there is any fee other than that, then it is your bank that adds them :) One of the reasons many don't accept foreign currency is because it's so expensive to exchange them for a company, espcially a smaller company. After covid, the only company that has a contract for accepting foreign currency is Loomis, and then out of France. That contract was EXTREMELY expensive, and for us to just brake even, the prices would be just too high. So I apologize for that, but that's just how it is these days. Hi, I watched your embarkation video and this one. Great to see your videos so will follow along. Quick questions, I will be going on first ever cruise on Arvia soon. Any advice on dealing with WIFI and phones. I keep hearing stories of high phone bills when getting home....I know you can turn your phone to Fight mode but with 2 teenagers I really want to protect against high bills. Any tips would be great. Also how bad is Bay of Biscay? Did the ship rock a lot in those conditions?

We visited Nordfjordeid a few years ago and absolutely loved it. The port is so beautiful. When we visited the ship there was a man carving wood for one of the heads of the ship. We found a little shopping centre near there too. xx

Virgin losts it's edge in the 1990s. They are not worth the price. Especially as the are now delta air france subsidiary

We stayed here recently too and really liked it. Our bathroom wasnt as big as yours but that makes sense if it is a disabled access bathroom. We were impressed with how easy it was to get to Universal from there too xx

The flat bed in this old plane is much more comfortable than the bed in the new A330NEO where you can't bend you legs.. Also the extra cost for Upper Class is less for the return leg than the outward leg (tax). Given the choice the return leg with a flat bed for an overnight flight is when you really notice the difference.

I found the food prices in the area to be very good. For example a Margarita Pizza was €8, sirloin steak was €16, mixed grill €17, lasagne €11.50. The triple cooked chips for €4 were amazing at Bahia Grill (just across the road). Although please be aware that these were the prices i paid 10 months ago, so may have changed slightly.
