If you're Norm Abram~~ "This Old House" there's no 58 second installation! 2 very adept installers who can multi-task & are going 120 mph. It's highly unlikely. This unit is absolutely phenomenal!! We have been running it for a month straight and we hardly hear it running and the room is consistently the same temperature.The installation takes time but it is well worth it.

Ha! I love how this woman seems to just lift this thing into place and is done. In reality, it’s a beast - it’s a 2 man job and once it’s in place there’s a number of further steps before you start talking to Alexa.

Great ac,one of the best in price, and btu range,,,,but no freakin way,,,,,, it take at least an hour and a half to install it correctly,and bug, and water tight,,,,,,and I'm a tool guy!!!😎

Google Home Integration doesn't work at all

Super Cool Efficient A/C - Installed it in a door rather than a window and it works great - Glad I was able to find an 8000 as the major retailers were all out of stock - Been running non-stop for 2 months and plan on running from solar or a 2000 W inverter generator if we have any black-outs. On eco-mode it whispers down to completely stop when it reaches the set temp and quietly ramps back on when the room heats up - Awesome Technology

I bought the 5000btu for my bedroom and my wife loves it. Super quiet and very cool. Installing was fairly easy too.

Installed two in our home, was so impressed by how quiet they are that I now also have one in my recording studio.

It is a great unit. My comment is: Midea does not provide a neat cover to conceal the horizontal bracket below the unit and the insulation pieces. The result is a messy unsightly look. I fixed the problem by making my own solid wood enclosure. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m6eEm5yG07m2gKc.html

I currently use a 14K normal unit to cool the living area. I'd like to replace it with this in a 14K size. Hope you offer it. BTW I am using the 8K size for my bedroom and love it.

This is false advertisement. First the unit weighs 60 lbs. second the braces are only built for max 36 inch wide windows, there’s no way it can stretch into a window pane that wide.

Bought an 8k unit last year. Took forever to arrive. Works great and is extremely 🤫 quiet. Filter gets dirty very fast. Keep it clean. If you have large window handles you will need to modify the seal between the units. But it's not hard. Just common sense. Overall an excellent value. Not much more than a standard window unit. Worth it just for the quietness.

You can not get one. I ordered 2 from Amazon and could not either one delivered. They just will not tell you when they are available or instock So I am waiting on a refund. .

By far the best AC Window Unit I have every had. I got the 8K BTU. Was easy to install and super super quiet!

Bought mine works great

Optical illusion; too many details needed to take care of which makes it not so easy to install. With so much stuffing here and there might as well not bother to open the window. The U design seems to offer a solution to be able to open a window but creates a need to redesign the curtains and blinds too. With the old design I could still replace the accordion covers with a wood frame all around and still open window without having to reinstall the stuffing ---Oh, the foam.

I want to get this from Amazon but I cannot wait over 3 months for it to be delivered from overseas

why not make this with like a true, split type instead of putting the two units on a single frame.
