Thank you for your comment, John! I'm glad you enjoyed the behind-the-scenes look at this wedding styled shoot. Interestingly, the photoshoot wasn't actually prepared in advance. I arrived about an hour before the start and saw the location and the couple for the first time then. Everything was done on the fly, which made capturing the ambiance even more exciting and spontaneous. I totally agree that great teamwork was key to making it all come together so well and to this day, I'm thrilled with the result!

Synchronising three cameras (nice idea) I do this in Photo Mechanics when importing from my Z9 cameras. Still good to see

@@jindrichnejedlyphotography totally agree, I was very lucky to get my first one in December 2021 and the second Z9 a few months later, still I miss my D6/D5/D850. but the change is good.

Presets aren't a one-size-fits-all solution. While mine suit my photography style, they might not suit others'. Additionally, I still tweak each photo individually even after applying a preset. So, I'm not considering selling them at the moment. I believe every photographer will discover their own approach that works best for them. At least that way, not every photo ends up looking identical. But your appreciation for my postprocessing approach means a lot. Thank you!

I’ve already watched several of your videos and I love your style and personality, but also the way your finished product looks! I find that today most wedding or event photos are over edited and yours are the opposite - they are still so true to tone with real life. I got my first Nikon mirrorless a couple months ago and I am still learning it. I noticed you use single point focus on still shots (like the groom or bride standing still) and aperture priority, how do you manage more movement? Thank you very much and thank you for showing us the way your work

Thank you very much for replying! ❤️ I really appreciate it. I know you love the 50mm 1.2, so if you were to choose just one lens for a wedding, would it be the 50mm or another one? Considering you’d already have a zoom like the 24-70 or even the 24-120.

@@CarmenBotathere's no right or wrong answer to that. I would personally go with two budget lenses instead of one premium prime. So, my recommendation would be combo of a 35/1.8 and 85/1.8 instead of 50/1.2

Dobrý den, váhám mezi D850 a Z7ii. Celkem mě rozhodilo jak jste říkal, že Z7ii se moc nechytá v tmavém prostředí, kde se tančí. Primárně jsem fotograf maturitních plesů a přesně jak jste říkal vy, také tančím a pohybuju se mezi lidma. Dále používám blesky godox, slyšel jsem, že s Z7ii mají problémo, že nefunguje červený focus assist blesků, nebo že nefunguje TTL mód. Všichni mi doporučují Z7ii, ale já stále cítím větší spolehlivost u D850...

Z7II bych osobně na tohle nedoporučil, když už tak 6II, která ve tmě ostří líp. Nebo úplně nejlépe ze zetkové řady Z8 nebo Z9. Ideální si tělo na jednu akci půjčit a sám vyzkoušet. Červené světlo blesků opravdu nefunguje, protože technologie ostření je jiná a to červené světlo nepomáhá. Jinak D850 je pořád skvělá volba, nebo klidně D5, ta bude na tyhle akce v zrcadlovkách úplně top, co se týká ostření. Já fotím ke své spokojenosti už dva roky se Z9, ale část fotografů říká, že D5 je pořád na tmavé taneční akce nepřekonatelná.

Thanks Roberto! I don't really care if it's zoom or prime. I choose a lens based on the specific requirements of the situation I'm shooting and my creative intentions. And I have several lenses, both primes and zooms.

The way your assistant follows you with the strobe, this is the way. This is the way to get really great shots in situations where flash is needed. So many times I try to tell people that, instead of using bounce flash. I;m so glad another person doing it this way instead of just popping a flash on the camera and doing it on easy, boring and inconsistent mode. Nice video.

Hi man, yes I have two of them. And favourite lenses - 14-24, 35, 50, 85, 70-200 - those are my workhorses. And especially 85/1.2 is something I fell in love with when it came out few months before.
