After the screws are removed.... squeeze the cover where the screws were to clear the tabs and pull down and out on the top, possibly move to one side because there are tabs on the sides also.

I don’t get the need for the pipe, why not just put the strap over the cylinder and tie it down?

It prevents the movement of the awning up and down, so it braces it solidly. A strap only pulls it in a downward direction and on higher rigs like mine where the awning is up at 12' from the ground there is a lot of wind that will also increase the downward pressure and bend the bracket arms. The poles prevent that from happening.

I have the same exact microwave. It was fine until after the warranty expired then I Had to start replacing the fuse. I’ve noticed if I have the microwave light on as well as the light above the microwave that it will blow the fuse when I open the door. I’ve replaced with the ceramic ones and the glass ones. Going to try the AGC type instead of the ABC type

I appreciate the time you gave in making this video. No doubt, educational. I had nothing but problems with my furrion and decided it wasn't worth my time. The glass turntable had shattered inside while in use twice. The door had three fine line cracks near the hinges and handle. I am the only one who used the microwave so I know it was not used in a harsh manner. I contacted Furrion and got nowhere. The topper was opening the door and a quick flash of light then nothing . In a perfect world the manufacturer would be held liable for anything that broke (mechanically) within 5 years. Maybe they'd think twice about how quickly and cheaply they can put together an RV. Great video ~ thank you
