Mr.Woodson,was a great singer,he could sing songs that David Ruffin,and Dennis Edwards made famous,with The same feeling and range,and then he had his songs with the temptations,(that were Fire)

I may not be a fan of the song, but Dennis along with the backing band did their thing. *The other Tempts' vocals weren't working for me here (probably due to mic issues)

the power and musicality of this performance was stunning

David was undoubtedly the greatest lead singer and most noticeable of all the Temptations! His lead on MY GIRL put the group on the map forever! Eddie Kendricks lead on JUST MY IMAGINATION put the group into the 70's! Paul Williams was severely underrated and Dennis Edward's CLOUD NINE and PAPA WAS A ROLLING STONE will forever be edged in stone! Ollie was deep make no mistake about it, but he came late, and the legacy of the Temptations had long been established!

Damon Harris had obviously passed already because Ron is in his place. Eerily… Richard died 9 days later…so apparently soon after this performance Richard passed. I love him….he was my favorite Temp. But then so was Paul and Melvin…lol.. They all were!

Oh my gosh I never watched 227 regularly and now I found this with my very very favorite band The Temptations. I cry every time I watch them because I love them so so much with the Four Tops also. There will never ever be such a great group this this.

Why is the picture so blurry when it has The Temptations oh my gosh. The Temptations in the Four Tops are my favorite groups of all time ever and I will be 67 soon. I cannot live without them and I saw them this past year and they were tired, but that’s understandable, I love them forever and grew up with them and I’m white I guess.

Am I the only one who thinks that for the past few years, Rhona is the only member who (consistently) sounds good live-??? Since the 2000s, Terry has started struggling to maintain her notes, and Cindy is starting to get a little pitchy with her runs. People will be like 'Dawn & Maxine would save them' but I've heard that their voices are going downhill as well as of late. Whether you like Rhona, you have to admit that no matter what, she always sounds good live.
