No switchable grip? No adjustable rest? Most ilf bows out perform this bow

Is the side plate adjustable for different spines arrows or to achieve center shot with different diameter arrows?

I thought the bowyer makes the bow with a recommended brace height .......How do you know it should be 7.5 to 8"?

Nice video. I know one day I’ll get me a beautiful custom made but I just wonder is it really going to shoot better than my bear Kodiak take down? I can’t imagine it would but maybe...

Not a thing here about determining what the brace height should be on any particular bow.

Does this also change draw weight?

No, its basically just preload. 28 inches is still drawn out to 28 inches regardless of the pre load on the limbs

After watching many videos on brace height this was the first to actually unstring the bow and show on video the process. Thank you.

I recently got to play with the classic TD longbow at Three Rivers, I was just blown away by that bow it's very smooth and at my short draw length it was the fastest bow I shot that day. I will be picking one up very soon well as soon as my Boss aka the wife lets me.

I have A bow with a brace height of 4 1/2. It twangs my arm at that setting. I believe it needs to be 7 or more. Is it ok to adjust a string that much? Thanks. Mark

Yeah it should be at least 7..if it bites your wrist or lower arm it's way too low.

Young Blood.... Ya got Target Panic with improper anchor. You'd probably get more speed and better impact if you anchored longer and got some expansion in your draw. I have the striker Cocobolo (54#@28"-60") Shooting with 31.5" Gold Tip Hunters 400 spine 7.45 gpi. (2014 and it's 2018 now, maybe you got better?) That bullseye you showed cut away from the shot, to show that bullseye. Ya shoulda took steps back to show the entire shot distance with out cutaway. I wonder how many takes it took? Like my grand daughter says "Grampa did you just walk up and stick that arrow in the bullseye?" Yours truly a 61year old geezer. No offense, I'm just sayin"

I believe he's an instinctive snap shooter. To me, it seems that once he hits his anchor, he immediately looses the arrow. I tend to do the same too. Contrary to your suggestion to anchor longer, I actually develop more panic the longer I anchor. I can't say the same for Dusty, but some people are wired to just loose the arrow once the anchor point has been reached.
