0.1 mm repeated accuracy is not very good for that price. Right ?

Most arms at this price are above 0.5mm : ) But we will optimize it, and I think in the physical world, the vision camera will assist the arm in optimizing accuracy

Let's say you have two sets of coordinates, X, Y and Z. One set of those coordinates is the origin, and the other set of coordinates is the destination for where the robot arm needs to be at the end of its cycle. Given that there are kinematic calculations that need to be done between those two sets of coordinates, what would you envision the cycle times would be from the origin to the destination? If you were to improve on those cycle times, how would you recommend that be done? Finally, if you were to re-create this arm as a five axis design, for purposes of adding an end effector - something to grab an object with, how do you think that would impact the performance of the robot arm?

LoL using motors that cost $400 each!! Why even 3D print if you spend that much money....

Haha just to verify the performance of the motor, once the structure is reliable enough we will replace it with sheet metal

Not even worth it bro, your arm has flaws. Like it's range of motion isn't great for the cost.

Really cool with the PGE50 gripper in the claw, when I built mine I made the claw with a servo and push-rods from 3d printed parts and it was very hard to get it reliable, took me a few months of work. Next time I'll just use a PGE50. The Mavic 3 with the rear loading battery has really made the removal and insertion process very difficult compared to the Mavic 2.

@@galaxian990 About $420/set, it uses a harmonic reducer and a brushless DC motor, so it is not only used in university laboratories but in industrial applications, and it can achieve very good accuracy. Next we will add velocity compensation function to it

@@JacodeRobotics $400 is way too much, your margins must be crazy. A good brushless motor is $50. Harmonic reducer is $350?
@JacodeRobotics4 ай бұрын
@@MrNoipe bro, a harmonic reducer costs abouts $200, and the PCB, the firmware, all require development costs
