I will probably end up in Bali or Thailand or Vietnam. Can't afford to live well in Australia as a retiree.

Had an awesome night at the sky garden when I was 17 on a family holiday in Bali, (snuck out to go have drinks and run a muck as me and my younger brother (16) had a seperate room to our parents) met some pommy lads abit older then me and decided we'd all go to another club to find some girls worth picking up, as we came out of the sky garden and turned left not even about 20 metres down the stairs I was circled by about 7-10 Balinese guys who all brushed my pockets and waist area, I immediately started throwing punches wildy and they all dispersed. I still remember this very well and am very surprised I wasn't attacked or jumped by them all. Am going back now as a 26 year old with my partner and will be sure to pickup a taser and be wary as fuck when out at of night time.😊

I love eating the local food. I always buy my treats from the local markets . That denpasar markets is unreal. I went there in 1980 and omg it was an eye opener. I heard there was a fire years ago and now all done up. The river was omg ugly hardly any water was flowing cause of the rubbish and now it is all done up. I bought a clown in those markets that laughs and then his neck rises up. I gave it to my when he was 2 omg he bashed the hell out of it hated it. hahahahaha. I am going to those markets next year

Yes, good advice, gut buds. When you get sick with BB, you can be sure that your have been transplanted with a huge amount of pathogenic bacteria, worms and parasites. As soon as you touch any cat or dog, you are instantly the recipient of worms and parasites. Stay healthy, Do an ivermectin treatment when you leave or after you get BB.

I really appreciate the walkthrough with you guys, Muzza. If you listen, you can hear Indonesian being spoken by the customers and stallholders. That is one reason why I love Indonesia, it has such a rich diversity of people; the Indonesian language helps bridge the inevitable gaps. I still love a decent Nasi Pecel or a hot Pisang Goreng. Looking forward to the next instalment.

So clad yr making videos like this It shows the real cost of Bali . And shows the millions flocking to Bali that keep saying there doing the Balinese a favour bringing money to there economy n without tourism Bali wouldn't survive. Well what yr being shown is little cost it takes to live as a local And you all would be shocked to learn a vast majority hate tourism the traffic the disrespect of there culture the rubbish the pollution the corruption the greedy of the major hotel n resort owners the pennies they pay the Bali work force for long hours n watch there bosses rake in millions . N everyone now wants to live in Bali or I should say the tourist zone which doesn't have much to do with Bali culture. N not all but many never mix or learn n understand the Bali culture. You have to remember unless yr born in Bali U will always only be a guest here

The comments that some viewers post questions their common sense. Of course western items are dearer in Bali. How the heck are they supposed to purchase and transfer the stuff? A can if WD40, some jumper leads and a lost Russian submarine??? Common sense people. Innocuous comments that clueless people post are not needed. Muzz and Vie are doing the best they can to provide you with an insight to living in Bali. If you don't like it shut up because most of us do. Keep up the good work Muzza and Vie

If you're a western food lover, there is nothing stopping you from shaking things up a little. Go to the local market for meat and veggies, get your other stuff at a supermarket. You support the locals and get what you want win win 👍 Of course, if you have a self contained villa and like to cook! Great job guys🙏

Other than the accomodation being cheap ..the rest of it food and beer is Aussie pricing .. I buy a carton of coronas here in Perth for $55 .so just over $2 a stubby and that’s what you said Bintang stubby was and Bintang is nowhere near the quality of a corona .. sadly Bali is no longer a cheap holiday destination

Love Padungbai. It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in Bali. Just don’t stay there in March. It’s millipede season and they are there in the thousands. They get into everything and spoil the experience.
