Mine does not have the red dot logo . Got mine around 2001/2002 at my local music shop. Great piccolo and has a loud crack that cuts through heavy music which is what i used it for 😅. Remo Coated ambassador worked splendidly .

I actually prefer the flanged hoop for rim shots , but either way -- not matter what kind of music you're playing, you can't go wrong with a Supra Phonic.
