The Bagley/Micheline Omni actually doesn't really double dip majorly with anything, I think maybe a couple of issues are in the Spider man vs Venom omnibus, but that book was always meant more for the Venom only collectors.

Tom baker is supposedly the best but I only seen the early 2000s dr. But I don't think I'd like the 70s dr since I'd think it's old technology there's no buttons and leavers anymore

The only folks that feel Tom Baker was the best are the ones that grew up with him as their Doctor. I myself consider him the best of the classic era. As for the modern era im tied between 10 and 11. Thanx for watching!

Your videos are great, I would love if you’d be able to recommend where to have a custom book printed, no preference in size…..there’s an X-men storyline I really want as a collected edition This storyline ended up leading directly into X-Men’s Biggest stories (The Wedding, Phlanax: Generation Next (The Origin of Generation X), Legion Quest, AOA, Onslaught) however Marvel has never put it together as a collection in any format. “X-Men: Among Us a Sabertooth” The story crossed over with X-Men Unlimited, X-Men, Uncanny, X-Force, Wolverine, and ended with Sabertooth: Into The Red Zone. This story was always one of my favorites because it was a different Genre (Horror, Suspense) than we’re used to with the X-Men and was pretty grounded. You have a Serial Killer locked up in the X mansion where everyone lives because Xavier believes he can redeem him. So if you have any recommendations Please let me Know. Your Customs are Beautiful.

Thank you for the compliment. Im glad you like my content. Thats a great question. I wish I had a good answer for ya. I know Houchen does binds but you have to send the TPBs in and have them bound. All my custom books are made by a friend across the pond. He prints and binds all his own stuff. Even my custom dust jackets are done in house. When inflation hnit the local print shop I used to go to tried to start charging over $25 per print. That cost on top of what I pay for the files was just absurdly high for the volume of DJs I print. So I ended up buying my own large format printer. Now I print them all myself. Still costs me about $10-$12 in ink and paper to print them at home. But the $1k printer has already paid for itself with all the money I have saved.

I get that. They just dont take the proper care when packing books. Sometimes I get the book and its fine no issues at all. Other times I havbe to send it back 3 time because it keeps getting damaged in shipping.

Sometimes I just gotta give it a shot. Thats how I discovered Once and Future, Descender, Something is Killing the Children, Klause, Locke and Key, the list goes on and on. Iv only had a few books I blindly bought I didnt like. But I do want to read this one before they announce a 2nd book.

Great queation. But the answer really depends on your own personal preferences. The library editions are the top tier way to collect them. They have the most complete version of the set. Bigger art more issues per volume. However that said the OHC set is much easier to read. More volumes means lighter books. Both versions contain the entire run. THE OHCs have a power ranger or skittles feel to the designs. Which is why i covered mine in custom dust jackes. If it were me and I handt already owned the OHCs with custom DJs id get the library editions. But thats me. You have to get whats best for you. Hope this helps. 🙂

I live within 2 miles of an Amazon distribution center. Half the time my book is OK. The other half I have to return it. 100% of the time they don't know how to pack a book. I get a book tossed ina box with no protection or o e or two of those air pillows they use. But hey if they work for you great! People in different areas have different experiences. I'm glad yours is a good one.

Those are all canvas. I had them made at easycanvasprints.com All I had to do was search google images for the pics I wanted. Then I just upload the image and they sent it to my door. The larger ones are 24x60 and were $200 and up the 36x24 were only around $40-$50

If you like having extras at the end of reading it and oversized artwork and as a hardcover than go with the Ultimate Collection the compendium is just a bigass trade with a ton of issues and that’s it no extras at the end of all 3 of them so it’s entirely up to you to decide which one you want to go with

As the last person stated the compendiums have no extras. Also in my personal opinion the OHCs are much easier to read as they are much lights individually than the compendiums. Once The Library editions of vol 6 and the reprint of vol 3 drop I will do a comparison video between the Library editions and the OHCs. Im not going to purchase the compendiums because they dont have the extras and they are standard size format.

Personally id prefer the ultimate or library editions because I enjoy the extras at the end. The compendium does not have extras at all from what im told.

Great question! Marvel many times release different font sizes on books. I also dont like white spines or the plain white font they use. This is a way for me to fix the spines so sets match and I can use logos rather than that plain white font. It also allows me to make different cover choices. Aand if they release more deluxe editions that will be a nice collection. However! Took and ordered the DCeaded box set just now. They will be read and enjoyed. 😆

I really love the onnibus it look so dam really n good. Very greatly made for a custom made omnibus. I've never read the marvel versus DC you had that made into a omnibus. I think the other cover from the Standard Ed you mentioned that you thought wasn't in the Deluxe Ed is actually there, it's placed along the pages of the story to serve as issue marker.

Your covers are outstanding. Marvel over the last few years has made so many mistakes or terrible choices in their dustjacket and spine designs. Really awful from marvel not to finish their legacy books properly. ASM, FF and XMen all changed spines in a volume 4 or 5.
