Really great to see your video, my family and I went there on vacation when I was about 11 years old. I'm now almost 62...so 50 years! It was Awesome.

The first time I went to ghost town I believe was 1967 I was 3 years old and I may be wrong on this but I think I'm right the second time is 1994 had a wonderful time and I wish they would open it back up.... It was very fun and magical.

My only visit was in 2009 when they briefly reopened. I was privileged to get to talk to Mr Bradley AKA The Apache Kid...it was a great experience.

Saw one too. It’s really sad what it looks like now. I seem to remember a few years back (just before covid, I think) that someone was trying to bring it back, but it seems like there was some bureaucratic red tape that stopped everything. Some of it might be salvageable, but a lot of it sadly looked pretty far gone.

I went there in 1978 summer and I enjoyed that place very much and yes this has been one of my favorite memories of my life thanks too my Aunt Rose and Uncle Joe that took me there from Pennsylvania on a vacation trip ❤!!! We went to a Charokee reservation too but I thought it was in Tennessee before we got to Maggie Valley I remember that much and I got a pic with 2 saloon ladies I think cost a dollar back then ! Great memories that will never be forgotten from my teenage years !!❤

I wish they would rebuild and reopen this place because I am tired of the bumper to bumper traffic in east tennessee. I wish I could be able to cross the mountains and get up to the top of Buck Mountain because i didn't get to go there in my youth. i would love to see this open back up.
