I did have Batten Down huge But Saturday at Churchill Downs I had winner exacta and trifecta the Fleur de lis stakes Scylia on top love the horse Shotgun hottie n Taxed trifecta. The Stephen Foster I was in love with Kingsbarns I can't believe I got 9 to 1 on him unreal So I put 100 to win he paid 21 bks 2 dollar bet so you can figure it out I had exacta Pyrenees for 2nd Disarm ruined my trifecta disappointed race Kingsbarns I preached to everyone that he's real n getting better Everyone kept saying First mission or Disarm I didn't like First Mission in the race Just a feeling At Aqueduct Saturday I had horse called Subrogate. Race 7 Aqueduct Saturday I had winner Exacta and trifecta Neat was the horse 2nd was Deterministic 3rd was Move to Gold nice small trifecta I had it straight I had a few others I played Aqueduct and Monmouth and Churchill Downs Saturday only races I liked mostly Stake races . Hey Al I had Batten Down big today n I also had the exacta number 2 for 2nd Gould' gold it paid nice I almost had trifecta if Catching freedom comes in 3rd I would of had it But he ran 4th I didn't like Catching freedom today just a gut feeling but I been following Batten Down he's the real deal Good horse Nice odds today 3 to1 paid over 8 bks

old saying horse for course #6 should do something going from turf back to dirt now alot depends on conditions sometimes they'll enter a horse to fill the card

The best 3 year old is Muth! He wins the Haskell he’d be the only 3 year old with 2 Grade 1 wins this season and me smoked Mystik Dan easy in the Arkansas Derby.

Sierra is a underneath horse all the way. Certain horses are prone to run 2nd or 3rd. Smart punters will always play this horse underneath.

i think alot depends on field size in all the races old saying " pace makes the race " now if they go into B C i wont be playing any of them reason california tracks are over rated i lost my ass on smaller races with good horses MIKE SMITH costs me alot money any of the ones you mention runs in biggest race classic they wont hit the board now thats my thought if playing california races ? if anything the turf races i feel might be more suiting times pace wins and depends on the field size and luck of the draw money grubbers from california plan on having big fields if so i will never bet the track they steal to much inconsistent to form thats my opinion if anything BAFFERTS horses get used alot in pools i personally watch pools how they bet money taken in there are times the over bet some horses i feel watching pools betting helps at times not always but it does me i learned my lesson over the years california racing uses alot of horses by chance horse for course you can catch a price at times they like using horses from out of town i dont agree with track they will be racing at size of tracks to small unlike tracks they been use to running at that can play into mutuel pool to i seen alot over the years but i rather see races ran at a larger track then west coast even on grass now just my thoughts at times i can change my mind bu after last year i hardly doubt it

Forever young is hands down the best 3 yr dirt horse in the world. He is a multiple continental champion.

Al, l love you brother but l disagree with your analysis on the stretch run. Sierra Leone was the outside horse that veered in making first contact with Forever Young. That alone was severe enough to warrant disqualification. Because of Sierra Leone’s paddling issue with his right front leg he will always have this problem. Look at the top of the stretch and see how far out from the rail these two horses are and look how far out from the rail they are at the finish line. This tells you the whole story!

The only horse with greatest late running style is Zenyatta!

Sierra Leone is a victim of his racing style. The best horse won the Belmont, no horse was going by Dornoch. I believe no horse will beat him the rest of the year now that he has figured out how to rate and how to change leads. Everyone will say he needs the lead but I think his best race will be sitting behind the speed and pouncing once it backs up. Two more wins and he will be HOY for 3 year olds and maybe for all ages if one win comes in the Classic.

I didn’t like making all the changes on a horse that was 3 wins and two seconds in 5 races and these were not easy races .But I don’t know for sure that you can blame the rider the track was obviously favoring speed horses and not the deep closers that’s why I threw a win bet on Dornoch right before the start of the race and I considered him a toss .
