Congratulations on a successful build! My grandson and myself are about start an electric to gas conversion. I also was gifted a 48V cart with 8 deader than dead batteries. I had no idea how much batteries had gone up in price! So with that in mind, coupled with wanting mo power, well gas it is! We’ve got frame rust to contend with also. Our cart lived in Bolivar, Texas, at the beach. So rust rust rust! I’ve been pondering whether or not to do a complete axle swap, with an new axle assembly and engine tray mounted to a new swing arm frame or not, but man those $$$ are piling up! I was wondering how you managed the chain tension with your engine/transmission on a rigid frame mount going to a spring mounted axle. Thanks for sharing.
