Another fashion designer of atheism. So since it's all meaningless and we're all only animals, the only reasonable question for Harris to answer is what kind of animal he feels or knows he is... But when you do ask this to the atheist suddenly theyre insulted, isn't that ridiculous? If he read these Holy Scriptures, he would know that true wisdom starts from the fear of God. A person without that fear is neither wise nor knowledgeable in the real sense, what then can they tell us about life? The mistake of most atheists is to equate the teachings of divine revelation with the false and sinful behaviour of fallible or deceived followers. God the universal teacher of mankind wants us to live for own benefit in this and the next world. What selfish leaders and organisations made of His teachings ist NOT His fault and definitely it is NOT a fair or smart reason to object to His existence!

I came here from a book which was read by a person who was giving IAS mock interview in India. Oh man I searched some keywords in that book "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humanity" and he wrote many absurd things about the seal of prophet, Islaam and Muslims, then I searched him in google and I found out he is of this generation and an Israeli. Then I came here to search him on KZfaq and even with his writings, his hate towards Islaam is very clear boy. He mentions duality in Islaam that heaven is of good god and hell is of evil god, we say like others that only our god is true, and Satan is someone who does things without god's permission...this are all a big fat lie. Pathetic!! God Almighty is only one and we believe that for every tribe God Almighty has sent prophets for clear message to worship God Almighty alone and do good. and prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is final prophet for humanity, we believe in all previous prophets like Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus (peace and blessings be upon all of them). Satan is doing evil not without permission of God Almighty, nothing exists without God Almighty's will and this life is a test. all previous scriptures got corrupted later on and there are not available in their original language today, but Quraan is witness to all previous scripture and it is in its original language Arabic and preserved till today after 1400 years. if we reject and disbelieve in any one prophet knowingly then we are not Muslims. Even the previous scriptures of today have verses of coming of final prophet even after so many updates like in bible. we say all the humanity's and whole creation's God is same and he is One, you cannot compete with this fundamental. Yuval Noah Harari author doesn't even know that 'god' word is ambiguous like it has female version 'goddess' and also gods have other meaning in Hebrew like mighty people not necessarily deity and capital 'G' is used to speak about the supreme Creator and only worthy of worship 'God'. God Almighty doesn't have a gender but for understanding purpose I too used this that too with capital 'G' and Almighty (God Almighty) and better word of God Almighty if we go by linguistics is ''Allah' it is unambiguous and is a name of God Almighty even in Arabic and God Almighty has many names like 'Rab','Ar-Rahman' etc. which are given by God Almighty himself and these are attributes of God Almighty and there are names of God Almighty which only he knows and there are names which can be used for humans as well but there is no comparison between God and us, like God Almighty hears and we humans also hear but our hearing is not same like God Almighty's hearing without any comparison and there are names which you cannot use to anybody else except Allah like 'Ar- Rahman' one of the meaning is "most merciful". So, these names are given by God Almighty himself you can't give name as you like, it should be suited to God Almighty, for example you can't say Allah is " Al-Ghadoub (The Most Angry)" although Allah does get angry, but he didn't give this name to himself, and Allah knows best about everything. you should also know that there were many Jewish leaders waiting for the last prophet to arrive and many accepted Mohammed (peace be upon him) and many rejected and failed the test because he was not from their tribe, out of their arrogance. There was a leader who was Christian and knew the coming of last prophet and knew Jesus is a servant of Allah like all other prophets and Jesus is not begotten son of God nouzbillah, and that Christian later accepted the final prophet and Islaam. from no one to 2 billion Muslims believing in prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Quraan, out of 8 billion people in globe didn't happen without a reason, and similarities in Christianity, Islaam, Judaism and the major world religions didn't happen just like that. This life is a test and basic belief to worship Allah alone and don't associate partners to Allah and be good was preached by all messengers as fundamental and God Almighty never changes in essence. Read different known names and meanings of God Almighty in Islam to know about Allah more, even a pope had appreciated in recent times that how much deeper is those names of God Almighty. There are many absurd things which Yuval Noah Harari talked about I am just talking about few. May Allah guide me and you, Ameen. death is inevitable and there is no other meaning to a life to exist and cease for a human, please be careful. Please be humble, remove arrogance from you and at least read translation of Quraan, the final revelation in language you understand better. For simple English I can suggest "Saheeh International translation" by three western women who became Muslim or in archaic English which has more better forms to match some meaning of Quraan it is "Abdullah Yusuf Ali translation" this man spent 40 years to translate ,please get a hard copy or read book in full online it has context and summary although it is a human work and no translation is perfect only Quraan in Arabic is perfect as Quraan is revealed in Arabic and other languages are just translations but these books I researched from authentic sources that they are authentic. You read so many books so give yourself a try reading it, a translation of a book which 2 billion population believes in.

Almost all of these has valid safety concerns. I won’t address the ones I don’t know off the top of my head 1. Encouraging swimmers to stay under water for longer and longer periods of time - drowning risk. 2. The flipping long jump was banned because if a jumper made an error they were landing headfirst in sand. 3. Flipping pole vault is similar, jumpers are at a considerable height and flipping increases likelihood that they could land on their head. 4. Do we see the theme yet? Front flipping over a full grown man on a grass or astroturf field has a high likelihood of head and neck injury. 6. The Flasbury flop (sp?) was banned when they were landing in SAND. 7. & 8. The “bullet man” position in both cycling and skeleton racing extends the unsupported head and neck in the front while traveling at the highest speeds in the respective events 9. Doing a one-handed tight radius cartwheel holding an iron ball under your chin - feels self explanatory. 10. In the spinning javelin toss they were also putting soapy water on the javelin and if it slipped from their hands it could fly into the audience. And here’s the thing - when it comes to elite athletics these athletes are often encouraged to the point of feeling FORCED to follow their coaches’ instructions. For some, this is their ENTIRE LIFE. These injuries could occur in competition but could also easily occur in training or even in just the attempt to learn the skill in the first place. By allowing these methods in competition they would also be tacitly encouraging abuse of young athletes and risky(er) training practices. Look up Elena Mukhina.

There's no such thing as "Darwinism" in modern biology, Darwin got the basic principles right, but modern evolutionary theory has moved on a great deal in the following 150 years. And evolution is not "random chance". Even Darwin recognised that.

Brilliant. There’s no monopoly on wisdom. I believe in some parts of the Bible and the Qu’ran, many of the central themes are essentially a validation of an idealised but worth striving for moral code. But I do believe they were “written” by mankind. I practice one of the religions above,to a degree, but I don’t believe it’s the “word of God”: though that notion does presuppose a commonly agreed upon definition of God, which I don’t necessarily subscribe to either. Myths and legends, yes, but as Sam says there’s plenty of wisdom within. My day job, as it happens, focuses on the works of Shakespeare and in his words, written by a human called WS, I also believe there is an understanding of the divine. Again, that term and concept is essentially a subjective construct, and one that I have my own relationship to. Peace in our time.

It argues also the deep question no one ever answers too. If the universe had to have a creator and that creator is this god (who conveniently conflicts with all other religions gods) then it must be asked did this god also have a creator. If the universe had a creator, then god must have had a creator. Who or what was gods creator? An all knowing, omnipotent and all good god or creator that created this world foresaw all of the suffering, all of the evilness, all if the starvation of kids everyday, all of these mass shootings, and on and on and on with all of the evil goings on in the world. Now he knew all of this evil acts were to come right??? So where is he to stop it??? Where is he to be this “god is good” type??? He is not here obviously! And do not say he works in mysterious ways or this is his plan!!!! That is a lazy cop out that makes me want to puke! He is not all knowing. He is not omnipotent. He is benevolent and a narcissist. He is evil because he has allowed and foresaw all of this evil beforehand right? So yes your god is an evil god. He is a derelict. He’s the do nothing god that hides from us ashamed at what he’s done. I detest and despise your god because he is a do nothing narcissist. Now your god isn’t real so nothing I stated will be used against me. I do not believe in the supernatural nonsense that requires a mystical mind. That is childish and therefore your religion is childish.
