BRILLIANT video , what rep and set ranges do you like ?
@BAstrength

I like to treat it like a true accessory. More for the ROM and "pump" than for true strength focus. So sets of like 10-15 reps, typically. I usually have my clients doing these after a SSB squat as their primary.

I really wish there was a good accessory for the start of a deadlift other than deficit. I feel like deficit puts you in a different physical position it doesn't really work the bottom of the deadlift, I have never failed a deadlift at any weight above the thig. It is always a failure about 2 inches off the ground. I understand this is usually a difference in leavers between one person and the next. I just don't think there's a way to set up bands to help the bottom of the lift.

i heard a really good metaphor for shoulderblade positioning that made me understand what to do. Imagine putting your shoulderblades into your back pockets. Good video!

Crazy to me how you almost squatted as much as you deadlifted. Insane leg strength. Keep it up 💪

I always have a hard time with the sit back,

Learning to sit back, but not "fall back" onto your heels... is hard. So that's why I actively push forward into the front of my feet before I start pulling. I don't normally recommend "sitting back"... but it seems to work for me.
