We can't calculate frictional force if we don't have the coefficient of friction.And in this case we were not given coefficients of friction,so there will be no need for us to include it. In simple terms,no information was provided about friction.

Pls for loop acfha, does it mean that the current flowing through the series circuit is different since u labelled them I1, I2 and I3 respectively.

In this case, we can't directly say that the currents will be the same , unless we get the actual values, but their combined effect will be equal to the total current in the loop. Because those currents are currents that came up as a result of the two voltage sources and also they are from different branches of the main circuit. The loops will just make it easy to find the currents across the resistors when the two voltage source are acting at the same time.
