Barbasol can be good but as for "not slick enough", the foam really needs more water which can be added to the lather on the face or into the brush and brought to the face; then Barbasol works better.

Just for future notice, it is illegal to keep cutthroat trout on palisades resavoir or any of its tributaries. Please check the regulations next time.
@KnifeCrazzzzy
@KnifeCrazzzzy 4 ай бұрын
Thank you for your concern I appreciate the level of care you are showing here. But in fact I did and do very heavily, you have misread the rules. The part you may have misunderstood or glanced over is in blue under special rules on the website/fish and game rules. “Special Rules Nearby Rules The following special rule(s) apply to adjacent waters but (exclude the Palisades Reservoir). Palisades Reservoir tributaries No harvest of kokanee Trout limit is 6, no harvest of Cutthroat Trout.” -direct copy and paste from website. idfg.idaho.gov/ifwis/fishingplanner/water/1110783432023 It only applies to the tributaries not the reservoir itself. Although that may change yearly it isn’t so now or then. I use the fish and game website, and carry the updated regs with me, and am in constant communication with fish and game. The first video in this series if watched all the way through shows me catching some on a tributary and stating that I cannot keep any there as I didn’t know where the dividing line between a creek(tributary) and the resivour itself was. I figured it out next day by talking with fish and game and having gone over the rules many times.
@KnifeCrazzzzy
@KnifeCrazzzzy 4 ай бұрын
Also the reason you can fish cutthroat on the reservoir is because they purposely stock them for it. They are not from my understanding the natives just below the damn where it is illegal to keep them. All on the website as well.
@Justin-zw1hx
@Justin-zw1hx 3 ай бұрын
@@KnifeCrazzzzy Yep, you can catch them in the reservoir just not in the tributaries, I think the reason is Fish and Game want them Cutthroat to spawn in those tributaries to produce more wild cutthroat.

Good one. I do, lots. What part are you referring to? If it’s the bow drill ember the whole point of the challenge is doing it from natural materials and in a wet environment. So it’s going to be just that, a challenge. I keep about 30 kits dry all the time ready to go and can bust out an ember in less then a couple minutes. I’d say that’s pretty decently practiced.
