I raise black soldier flys for my chickens in America. We are so spoiled with the luxury of garbage men to take away our food waste and garbage . Meanwhile our waste lands are full and destroying the environment.if I had the money to buy land and start a big black soldier farm and go around and get all the food scrapes from restaurants and schools and start a big business to help the environment I would do it. I have a small operation of black soldier flys for my animals and all the waste goes to the flys..it's wonderful what you do to help farmers.. my only problem is ants.they go for the food and I think they Kill the baby larvae. Maybe I need more larve and less food?

I do the same with my chicken poo. Some coffee grounds included that I use for bedding but the maggots love that too. Only problem is that I don't have more poo to use.
