Do you always use the diffuser with the reversible griddle or not? @DKGoesWild My griddle doesn’t get hot enough for a proper “sizzle” when cooking steaks as you should, takes ages to cook them, and tends to broil them instead. Fine with everything else. Wondering if I didn’t use the diffuser would it help. Don’t want to destroy griddle plate though if not meant to me used without it. Thoughts? Thanks!

Concerning shooting-you haven't lost it ;-) Concerning singing..I should better not commenting. They had lots of activities-beside you playing dress up with your daughter. You still keep out of the sun-you missed nearly all of english summer being in the shade. Much cleverer than being burnt! The line dancing was...very American. Had a one Kilometer walk and back in 33°C today. Had my emergency cap with me, but decided to brave the sun. Lets see if I came through unscathed ;-) You were much smarter-but I was much more macho today ;-) Stupid but macho-normally comes in that pack. Will be nice to hear Jess opinion to your dancing with the instructor. Maybe you were braver than me today ;-)

Steve used Lanoguard on ours and when we took it to the garage this week the owner said to him that theres no rust and it looks great underneath. Really good for a ford. he said our 2004 van will last longer than the 2064 van that was also there!! They are solid built!

I liked that a sign pointed at the parade said "diversion". Which was true. You were just grabbing a bite with the daughter ;-) All the rest was just... The camera seems to be an upgrade. Will be expecting interesting movies ;-)

I’ll be honest the footage on the climbing frame was really well edited from a POV of the user climbing on it. Other than the microphone quality which is better on the GoPro (with media mod) we love Insta cameras and hardly use the Go pro now. They are much more user friendly and intuitive. I think Go pro are becoming old hat now and not moving with technology.

The funny hub cap looking thing is a flame diffuser, that gives a more even heat with the BBQ grill and griddle.

Waxoyl thick syrup that is heated and applied with a compressor works very well on non-rusted metal. Sticks and stays for years. Lanoguard, I have no experience of but am skeptical. Bilt Hamber does a cavity wax (for inside cavities) Dynax S50 which comes with a 60 cm long straw for getting inside long box sections. Supposed to last for years and lab testing shows it to be far superior to anything else, although, technically, it's a cavity treatment rather than an exposed surface treatment. They also do Dynax UB and UC which are waxoyl equivalents and thicker than lanoguard. My experience with zinc primer, and 2k paint has been that it's great on sills and such, but once you start applying this to really harsh places like wheel wells, the paint just falls off. In this case, I'd use Waxoyl or preferably Dynax UC and apply in multiple layers until it's thick. Then check every year and reapply as necessary. For ancillary stuff like alternators, accessories, parts in the engine bay, XCP Rust Blocker is supposed to be very good. Top performance for motorcycle protection where you are looking for an effective, thin-film product.

Bloody hell mate, what a state! Feel pretty sorry for you, that's not a nice sight. Worst thing is that these vehicles still command like £10,000 plus. Had the vehicle had all the cavities treated from new and everything exposed doused in thick waxoil or similar, it would NOT be in that state. In my opinion, the biggest crime that Fiat / coachbuilders did was to create £50,000+ vehicles that are pretty much guaranteed to have holes by ten years old. They should have foreseen this type of problem and done some preventative treatment. I've got a 2005 Ducato / Relay which is nothing like that. A few bits here and there but I jumped on it in 2017 when the vehicle was 12 years old, and spent £2000 having a new sill welded in and numerous patches here and there, plus cavity treatment and full waxoyl. Had I not bothered, by beautiful self-build would have deteriorated to such a point that it would be good for the scrap yard. Looks like your subframe has been replaced, and I can see new power steering pipes. My recommendation would be to use Bilt Hamber products. They have great reviews. Lanoguard is very well-marketed, but I think you'd be reapplying that once or twice a year for it to be effective.
