whats the 3rd knife from the right with the weave carbon fiber?
@peen28042 ай бұрын
i got a titanium one with arctic storm fat carbon inlays on both sides and its pretty good. snagged it for like $100 (155-180 originally). pyrites in general are pretty ok at best but i was impressed with the premium version of the mini. artisan's sand polish is trash though no idea why people are blowing loads over it. its super inconsistent and looks cheap af. i have larger hands and dont have much issue with the button lock, but the premium one has contoured scales which may help. Also random but with any button lock when reasembling do it with button side down, and seat the plunge and the blade at the same time so you dont have to mess with aligning the plunge and blade. also just sit the spring in its little hole once blade and plunge are seated, and put the clip-side scale on, negating any worry of maintaining spring pressure or having it shoot across the room. Not sure why im rambling, but either way thanks for the vid. always enjoy your content.

I have the feel good jack and the same hedgehog both in pink Camo carbon and I have to say I enjoy the hedgehog more. Sharpest knife I’ve ever received out of box. But the jack wolf is definitely a nicer knife but I agree, not $160 dollars nicer

I have this system. Although I can freehand sharpen very well, guided systems have their place. To repair a damaged edge, to re-profile and edge or for an edge that is very dull, I use a guided system over a freehand stone any day.

Great comparison! I collect locking knives primarily so I'm no expert on slippies. I bought the jigged titanium Hedgehog and love it! Since the whole slipjoint thing isn't my thing, I just can't see the Jack Wolf being worth twice the price of the Hedgehog. I fully agree the Jack Wolf is built to a higher standard than the QSP, and is a better knife overall, but at $145 the QSP is a far better value. I've gifted a couple of the micarta 14c28n Hedgehogs to friends and they were blown away by it.

At least get a full size Bugout if you're going to compare knives in the title.

Yes there are insane amounts of scammers using cloned profiles

Amazon has tons of Benchmade clones and don't do anything about it.
@peen28042 ай бұрын
@@DonaldPerreault thats pretty different from people scamming on the secondary market. if you buy a benchmade clone from amazon, youre still going to get a benchmade clone. A cheap knife you paid a cheap price for, as opposed to just being scammed out of a potentially large amount of money. Buyers should obviously do their due dilligence, but regardless I'm not entirely sure what your point is with that comparison.

It compares more to a CRK Sebenza as opposed to bugout.

I love this knife. Great companion to the SRK, basically a perfect duo. I had to take a sharpening stone to radius the spine because I literally sliced my thumb open by pressing and sliding on the spine.

Had no idea that you were making videos again. I had been a follower way back when. Good to hear your voice again. As far as knife reviews, you do them because you enjoy it. That probably means it won't be an everyday thing. What a privilege to be a subscriber again. Certainly not going to judge,. We all have issues, that's why we need a Savior. I'm praying for you, my brother.

Just bought this as a companion for my SRK-C because I figured a small fixed blade would be a lot nicer than a folder outside. No worrying about cleaning a locking mechanism or bearings/washers. Great combo for every outdoor use. Also carry a SAK huntsman and all the cutting tasks are covered.

You cannot beat GEC overall. That is why they sell so high secondhand. That rough ryder was made in China. GEC is made in Titusville, PA. The quality is second to none. I do love Rough Ryder for the value it is great, don’t get me wrong.Thanks for the review bud!! I have one of these on the way so no trash talking here haha.

Nice!! I think GEC secondary market prices are more about exclusivity than quality I’ve owned a lot of them and always felt buyers remorse after paying secondary prices. I agree they are great quality but not $400 quality that some of them get..
