The $7,000 limit is only on the initial contribution to the Traditional IRA. There is no limit on the transfer/conversion to ROTH; you can transfer any amount you want or have available.

My job doesnt provide 401k match. But I do direct deposit from my bank per paycheck to my hysa so I save couple hundreds a month. I am looking into investing, but first need to break down what I spend on each month haha. Now I am considering roth IRA before I move on to investing. Thanks for the video (though I know it is a few years old but I love coming back to your channel especially in the mornings when I get ready for work.). You said it. I miss my purpose. My coworkers, the activities... tje social interactions... the job it self. I realized i didn't want to retire, and stressed out,.. i git so scared. I was panicked, ... but...... waa retired because i didn't stop it in time. I have severe depression. I made a HUGE mistake. I lost the want to live, believe it. Im isolating,.. unable to excersize or even walk. ..... it's totally destroyed me. I was my structure, where as all my hobbies and activities where enjoyed. I wish I didn't listened to them, that convinced me it was the best thing to do..

@cherrytung I retired, but I didn't want to,.. I had stress, was given wrong information,.. and thought I had to do something before I could return. It wasn't true. I missed the return date, ... even then, I had another chance to return, but my stress level was max, and I nolonger could see the positive, proactive side. I catastrophized everything .. I got scared and just quit. I couldn't believe what I did, and then found out what was said to me wasn't true.. if that wasn't said,.. I would still have my job. The person, of course, feels bad.. he thought he knew what he was saying to be true... but he was corrected. And it was too late. And once you're gone from the company,... you cannot return to your seniority. I was total devastation. It's destroyed me. I have severe depression and crippling anxiety, and I still have insomnia. It's like my "life" switch was turned off. I have no happiness in my soul. :(
