@Kimsigns2 My preference is to wait a couple days before unmolding, but 1 day is fine. It's usually quite soft after unmolding so I tend to wait a couple extra days for it to start drying out and not be so tacky before I do the cutting.

The only thing is you didn't remove the bottom, that's Aluminum! That and lye do not mix well. High toxicity in that soap.

Yes, some people really like the strong tingle and smell. For some reason I always feel "cleaner" when using peppermint soap compared with other essential oils

@coffeerocks4764 it smelled nice but accelerated like crazy. I would say probably not worth sharing 🤷♀️ Peony essential oil is kind of rare and a pure oil would be pretty expensive.

Yes the superfat in my recipes are usually 5-8%. I have to keep it lower because many of my recipes are palm free and vegan so the fats don't always have as nice of a lather otherwise.
