I did exactly like you & it charges now but… something is wrong w my screen. I only can see it if I hold a flashlight to it. Any ideas?
@hdezn26 Жыл бұрын
Likely the backlight is not working on the screen... A screen / backlight replacement may be nessassary. But... before that... go and recheck all connections and see if there's any somewhat loose ones.. that may cause lighting issues before doing a replacement of the screen..

Thank you for this video. My daughter's K88 tablet stopped charging and I suspected that the port was bad. I just replaced the charging port and it started charging right away. The video was clear and gave me the proper instructions needed to accomplish the fix.

My tablet doesn't charge anymore..the battery has the date August 2016. Could the battery be the problem or most likely the port??
@hdezn262 жыл бұрын
Is the Battery bloated in any way? Then it's possablly the battery. Remove and check the battery's output leads with a multimeter, and see if there is a voltage on the ends of the connector. If it's less than 2.4v dc The battery is bad and needs replacement. If the device don't charge any at all with different usb cords then it's likely the port. Try using a new charge cable and if it fits in the port loosely, and still don't charge.. replace the port.

where can I get a screen of that model?
@hdezn263 жыл бұрын
It looks like that they may not sell screens (at least on amazon / or Ebay for that model. (out of stock) I could check elsewhere, but so far had no luck. On the other hand they are selling used devices that could either replace your device or can have screens removed and swapped to your broken device.

How do u replace the screen
@hdezn263 жыл бұрын
Well , at the moment, I haven't replaced a screen on one of those K88's, yet. If I can get another one of those, I'll take it apart and try to figure that out. If it's anything , It will likely need to remove both plastic sides , battery and motherboard, unless the screen and digitizer assembly is glued to the front, like a samsung phone I had to remove a screen to get inside for. Sorry I couldn't be of any help currently. ( If I find a suitable video online, on that, I'll link it, here, for you.)

man this is great. i bet that since like any kind of thermos or coat or insulating ANYTHING involes heating or cooling the air pocket around the area is the idea. that means your idea creats a double barrier between the ,lets say outside. so this would really really be tremendous insulation! !! ive been looking into shipping container housing,like entire complexes of apartments made of shipping containers .linked like they do on ocean ships. locked together, well the MOST expensive part is INSULATION! if you put a trash can out side fast food joint you could have huges amounts of cups. ....wow. cool man

just saying, if you took the 48 dollars you spend on the soda for that one section, you could maybe buy some real stuff, that said good ideal better than tossing them. you will still get a draft, so crush a few for the ends to block the air from coming in or reverse each roll so they fit tighter together....
