I repaired a shops 60 gallon, 220 volt compressor and couldn't continue to run a jitterbug sander
@user-ly7xr4ge8fКүн бұрын
My friend was talked into buying a 11 cfm,gas compressor but it only has 2 tube tanks totaling 9 gallons of storage, it won't work well on his big spray gun. Myl little 30 gallon, 5 hp will get better results because of the tank capacity, for spraying cars, the pulse of the compressor piston has to be buffered. You can actually see lines in,especially flat paint from having a smaller tank

The thing about it also is it almost doesn't even matter if it has positive traction because BLD works so good... That said... Having both is phenomenal.

Thank you - I'm using my tractor with forklift attachment to pick mine up but want a quicker way to get mine up and this might be the ticket. I recommend everyone use jack stands and go a bit over the max rated capacity on all the elements of your lifting system from straps to the hoist. 1,000 pounds will kill you if it falls on you; most accidents happen at the home.
@007connecticut4 күн бұрын
After this video was made I purchased a set of lifting chains made to lift engines. Then I mounted the rings of these chains on solid lift points behind the seat of the Scag. So these rings are on the machine and when I drive under the hoist I simply connect the lifting chains to the hooks on the Scag so I don't even bother with the slings. So it's a modification that makes lifting the machine even faster. I think a hoist is the best way to raise up a lawnmower for service. Even to move heavy things to or from my truck makes a hoist in a garage a must have.

There is a small problem with this video. The IR2235 uses about 170 liter pr. minute when it has 0 load (what you are doing just pulling the trigger but nothing to work with) Now put it under 100% load against a really stuck nut or something then it goes up to 680 liters pr. minute at 6.2 bars... none of the two compressors you have are really up to the task...

I read on Milton's website, with impact type tools or rotary high flow tools, you need to use a leader/whip hose (3 foot hose directly into tool (maybe with a swivel), then have the Milton V high flow connection at the other end. For this reason. FYI

A few things i think cause this for me 1. Cold cracks skin 2. Low vit C intake 3. Peeling potatoes 4. Wearing old plastic gloves for work. 5. Low imuun system 6. Bad eating habits - needs pumpkin and cabbage and beans and rice and a good old steak.

Should the wheel float on the bolt with a little space on each side while on the unit?
@007connecticut2 ай бұрын
The bearings and spacer should stick out a little. As you tighten the axle bolt spin the tire until the tire binds from the pressure, then back off the bolt pressure until the tire rotates freely. Then your done.
@vancecousin7166Ай бұрын
So is the spacer suppose to spin on the bolt or be stationary@@007connecticut
@007connecticutАй бұрын
@@vancecousin7166 stationery. The only thing that turns is the rim. The bearing tightens up on the outside lips. The inner bearing will spin freely, providing the bolt it not over tightened. So I spin the tire and tighten the bolt. When the tire stops spinning loosen the nut a little to get the tire rotating freely. Then the tire job is done.
@vancecousin7166Ай бұрын

For a while now I was thinking of switching from 3/8 automotive fittings to 1/4 high flow fittings but always backed out. I guess I was really waiting for one to fail to have an excuse but they have been working flawlessly for years no problems. I did make an adapter conversion with metal regulator for my cutting and grinding tools using high flow hf fittings. All good.

Question, why was there an option for just one shot? Did armies not trust their soldiers to not burn through ammo?
@007connecticut2 ай бұрын
Th ones who gave feedback for the rifle where from the American Civil war. Back then they use muzzle loaders and most were 1 bullet then reload. So that was the mind set in the early 20th century.

@GeorgiaShootersGroup2 ай бұрын
Actually two sides to this. Countless rifle ranges require mandatory use of a target for GOOD reasons and no rapid fire more than 1s between shots.You only have to look at the ceiling baffles at my range to see why. Neighborhoods are developed around these previously country rural ranges and they are driven out of business. The employees are walking a fine line to keep it open. Working at ranges will give you a broader perspective knowing what people do at these places. Not having any target down range is a HUGE clue.

I don't really like this guy's attitude - it's not his range. I feel like he set that camera up knowing that this kind of shooting would lead to them saying something. I don't like when people "set up" these encounters and bait people to react to something they know to be wrong in the first place.
@mikhail65182 ай бұрын
He obviously set up the camera to test his new magazine and possibly silencer
@MathewLengyel-ov2dd2 ай бұрын
@@mikhail6518 That wasn't "obvious" to me - and the way he wasted his ammo firing his weapon the way he was makes me very suspicious. He wasn't practicing his marksmanship by focusing on his breathing, sight-picture, trigger pull or anything else - he was just emptying his magazine and behavior like that at the range makes me uneasy. I believe he set out to do that with his camera recording to illicit a response from the staff there.

If they are all the same gun built the same way....then why do the have different numbers of clicks for the 200 yard calibration.

But how does it work tho. You pull the pin, and shoot it within those few seconds? Or is the grenade gonna be automatically armed on its way once fired?
@007connecticut2 ай бұрын
The spoon of the grenade is captured so it won't go off. When fired the spoon of the grenade will slip out of the retainer. So as it's fired, the timer begins. If fired at a 45 degree it will explode in the air. So it needs to be fired less than that to be able to shoot pill boxes and stuff.
