About the mist trick, you can actually do it on the ground without the jump. Just go through the mist and attack right away instead of charging the mist bullets.

its not that his kit is complex. Its just scuffed. To positioning heavy, which in turn can affect your other characters damage output. The bad: Mist gates feels too small and dont last long. Not nearly enough dmg for the amount of effort you put in. Useless traces/eidolons The good: Coolest character in the game. Really good animations. The only character that can taunt rn.

I recently started using him with Jiyan (lvl64) and Jianxian (lvl60). He’s 20 levels lower than the other two but insanely fun to play.

I just found out aalto has higher dmg when he's doing basic atk while mid-air. Man this guy is super OP.

As an alto main l have been doing this from day 1 using his ult and spamming mid air attack through the gate

How is it "new tech" if its clearly stated in the skill tooltips? Guess people are just illiterate.

Does shooting through his Ult also count as shooting though the mists?

aalto, yangyang, and sanhua are my favorite kit designs. Despite being 4*s they really don't feel like they were brushed off on the design as 4*s. Really nice to see that Aalto has some usability and combos to make him usable, was really discouraged to use him because all the theory crafters said he was the worst. Thank you for the insight and the research!

with his S3 he will deal 50% more dmg with each of the extra attacks or it will be dealing 50% more dmg with both together?

i love that the 4*s are good in this game. danjin, chixia, mortefi, yangyang, and aalto enjoyers eating good.

A lot of people sleep on him. He can solo everything in the game even the holograms. The moment they put a 5 star DPS gunner in the game, it will be insane.

The problem is it's bugged. When you do mid-air, you only get 1 mist drop per jump, meaning you are missing 4 drops per combo, bringing the actual dps closer to just doing a normal basic attack combo but now you are consuming a lot of stamina and harder to perform.

Lovely guide! If it weren't for the insane resource requirement needed for each character to be at least on a playable state, I would've mained Aalto straight away with this video.

oh same stuff fyi, you can also start chracter with the 3rd basic attk when you swap out chracter during combat without using intro too, except for claymore. Good for chracter like yang yang who need to finish her 4 basic for 1 forte stack.
