good question, harmonics, some, i would consider this a race car only setup, but there are several manufacturers of these that may give different input. there is also a poly option in between stock and billet. i used stock ones in my c7z (auto) into the 8 second zone without issues

I'm just looking for a reliable aftermarket solution to prevent coupler deteraition. I don't really care about the noise from it, because the c6 is gonna be a street race car

@@JacksoNR26 8 second zone is 1/4 mile time, 900 hp range changing to solid couplers would indeed stop coupler deterioration, but the stress will always find the next weakest link

Hello, I just installed my mms catch can and re-seated my blower. When I retorqued the bolts to 89 in lbs on two passes, only some of the bolts bottomed all the way out. I am also visually able to see one of the supercharger seals that is supposed to seal to the runner. I actually ended up using fresh bolts from gm too. What could I be doing wrong? I have been working at this all day, lol.

Compare the new bolts to the old bolts maybe they are the wrong length.

wouldn't it be beneficial to install a catch can to capture and treat the unfiltered emissions out of the regular pcv, instead of just circulating these emmission right back into the intake manifold, on my NA 2.5 Subaru Forrester? Additionally would I also want to run the unfiltered emmissions from the EGR circuit into the catch can, instead of circulatting these fumes back into the intake circuit?

PCV in the definition is crankcase emissions control by reburning via the intake manifold. If you don't have that happening as the end result then you don't have PCV. Treating or removing the elements of blow by via another method than re-burning I don't believe gets you anywhere other than additional cost and complexity then just using the existing ICE. @@shauncain9855 the car came with the supercharger, i only got rid of the car to get my current 7z which I do prefer. I don't recall having any trouble out of the s/c system or the headers. Great sound out of the headers, and the s/c kit was a nice bump in power without a real down side IMO.

I installed this on my 2015 z06 per your video. The catch can isn't getting any oil and the supercharger is still getting the same amount of oil prior to installation. Not sure what the issue is but is anyone else experiencing this as well?
