Really Nicely covered each and every Step ❤ I have been trying and approached many HR Head and seniors working in Dubai companies through LinkedIn. The first thing I did was to connect with them then dropped the message that I'm looking to partner with your company and then my company history and services we provide. So they see my message but not responding. Also I dropped mails with my company profile still no success. Another issue is that I'm in India and can't reach them for F2F conversation. Please help me if someone can provide me with a reference or wayout.

Hi Preston - I just wondered. Is there a trend of people hiring based on culture and are there AI tools that recuiters use to match for culture?

Don't you think that a 2 call close would be better in this scenario? 1) Try to get lead into a meeting, 2) Ask questions about the role/Pitching candidates?

Thank you for sharing these valuable email finder tools! If you're looking to find and verify emails for sales, outreach, and lead generation, I highly recommend trying out Tomba Email Finder. It's a great tool for streamlining the process and ensuring accurate results. Keep up the great content, Recruiter Preston!

Most are US only or only accept seasoned recruiters even if you have worked 25 years as C-Level Executive who whats to leverage his network. Except Reflik. Really nice setup but most of their jobs seem to be in desolate places and impossible to fill. Check yourself how long jobs stay open. Pick a good looking job, spend some ads money and find out you won’t get one applicant. Account managers don’t respond on emails. So bit in doubt about Reflik unless someone has a successful experience with them.

A response would be greatly appreciated. How do you find the companies that will allow you to bring candidates to the table? Part 2 of the question is how do you find companies consistently that will allow outside or independent recruiters to work the openings they have? ****

17yr veteran recruiter here 😅 Some tips for those starting out: More listening, less assuming and a lot less talking. That helped me go from a terrible to a decent recruiter. Being honest about what you don’t know and remaining curious. You’re the expert at recruiting/headhunting, not Cloud Computing, so do your research, understand what a good hire in that space looks like and learn from the candidates as much as possible, while giving them the opportunity to learn from you about how to land their next role. Be as authentic as humanly possible. People like to work with people. Being overly corporate or robotic can be alienating. Job hunting is a vulnerable experience for anyone at any level of seniority so interacting with someone who is personable and empathetic makes a world of difference. Similarly with the hiring community, it might be their first time recruiting and they’re anxious about getting it right, so patience and talking through what’s important to them in a hire is really valuable, not only for finding the right person, but building trust and a good working relationship. Lastly, trust your gut and your voice. You’re not an order taker, and as much as it helps, you really don’t need to be a sales person. Human instincts exist for a reason and if someone doesn’t seem right, speak up and/or dig deeper into what’s making you question the fit. You’re a business partner and a specialist at sourcing. Back yourself in that regard and be open to learning from those who are specialists in their own field. “You teach me about X, and I’ll help you find one”. It really is that easy. I’m hugely introverted and recruitment has been the most challenging yet rewarding thing I’ve ever done. Just find an employer that allows you to be yourself, and you’ll thrive. Good luck 💕

My issue is I set my recruiting business up and have 15 years of recruiting experience. However after 2 weeks of cold email outreach and LinkedIn outreach for clients, I have nothing so far. I was hoping to at least have 1 conversation by now. Little disheartening....but it's only been 2 weeks.

One thing that helped me to get started was to not only contact potential clients but to also contact other agencies that already have similar clients of my industry. We made a deal to share the commission. This helped me to stay above water until I could find my own clients. I still work together with this agency today so we never became competitors but partners. I hope this could help or encourage you. Good luck :)
