I saw DB Class 66177 while I was waiting at the level crossing Pencoed to go to get my train into Bridgend to do my shopping on Wednesday 24th July 2024 at 05:46am. It was Margam T.C. to Cardiff Docks Ryans F.W.

DB 66104 was the Trostre Works to Newport Docks, old EWS Llivery 66170 was on the Margam T.C. to Round Oak. Class 67017 was once named Arrow in old EWS Llivery.

why was no one told about this? if it was up the pines it would have been advertised !! thanks to the council bridgend has been killed !!! thank you to all the car owners who showed up !!!

Nice vintage cars there tho I Left just after 15:15pm as there was problems with the trains.

It's the first time that 2 green lights were shown as both DB & Freightliner race though Cardiff Central though it was a bit blustery the only one I didn't see was DB 66177 as DB 66099 was the Margam T.C. to Newport Docks which I saw pass Pencoed. 66083 came 1st which was Round Oak to Margam T.C. then 2nd was DB 66099 which has Ukraine on its side which came through Pencoed soon after.

First impressions on seeing the bus station from the outside , it looks like truck loading bays at the back of a warehouse, probably due to it being in a built up area , but from inside and looking out definitely bus station plus being opposite the train station it will be a relief for many getting off the train then straight onto the bus also brining in extra revenue for cardiffbus win win

Nice show you went to as you might have seen I went to Westbury via Gloucester to catch D1015 Western Champion and tho the trip was long ot was worth it bar the brisk wind 🌬️ but the return took a a turn got back to Gloucester ok until we got held behind a GWR at Caldicot due to a trespass incident. That bus ride looks good and I did see GLR BESPOKE SERVICES and factory halt metal box which does it have any connection with other factory halt. There was a nice layout on the floor and other layouts were amazing.

I much preferred the old station then the new one, i will be visiting the new station tomorrow, to do some spotting

Well pretty good so far no issues to report they seem to be getting in and out of the bus station obviously ok somebody walking across in front of the need to go to specsavers.

Remember it well. Everybody just got on with doing what they had to do, unlike to-day when the country grinds to a halt when there in 1/8 in of snow.

An excellent performance by both choir and an excellent turn out 👏. Tho I was at police headquarters for the fun day at least the weather was good 👍. The best highlight was that March pass with the Scottish pipes and 🥁.

Mallard and similar have double chimneys called Kylchap. The real inventor is Ilkka Kylälä -> Kyl. Chapelon tuned it -> chap.

Class 158824 came from Tyseley I could not get 5 class 66's as Class 66088 head for Margam T.C. The convoy of the 4 Class 66's were Class 67063, Class 66119, Class 66174, Class 66174 from Margam T.C. to Eastleigh.The driver of Class 66099 was Leighton as there was a nice turn out for the GWR Castle 🚂 locomotive to arrive from Dorridge plus a few faces from Friends that we knew were there as well.

It was low key as I was told by a lady she only heard on Facebook but if it was a weekend then it might have been different. Next Year is the 80th anniversary of the end of the 2nd world war in Europe however war was Still raging on in the far east until the Americans dropped atomic bomb.

Every time i go there its always closed up. Never see a soul there.

So there was a GWR in platform 2 when the Northern Belle passed Bridgend as I first saw it at Cardiff Central and then I decided to head back to Pencoed to see it pass slowly as it had to follow the Maesteg stopping service. The West Coast Railway Class 57s were Class 57601 Windsor Castle and 57313 Scarborough Castle.

Great video of the B1 61306 Mayflower coming in to Hereford when the freight arrive from Dee Marsh for Margam at Hereford I honestly think the tracks need oilling. Did I hear correctly you told Steve not the bang the bridge or was he building a bridge. Seems how the B1 61306 Mayflower came to a halt as things didn't go to plan at Shrewsbury.

That was the skyline at its best wish they do it like this again and renew the fabric

Good video Colin. About time they had the bus station back, although being all underground like that is a bit off-putting and gloomy..surely they could have picked a better location? Where exactly in Cardiff is this?

As you said a lovely walk now but not in the winter time as a few days ago it was on the BBC Wales today that a woman fell in and to young lads recuse her. With the path slowly slipping away I wonder if the council will close it completely or better still make it a better path for all to enjoy if it was fixed.

Nice close up on (rog) Rail Operations Group Class 37800 tho surprise 🫢 that a freight heading the opposite direction. There has been alot of steal traffic from slabs to coils recently.

I didn't expect to see the Class 47 to go through Bristol Temple Meads light engine followed by 7029 Clun Castle with its train. As you might have seen by my photos i went to Filton Abbey Wood and i can tell you it's quite a nice station not much freight but Ideal if you want to film trains as GWR Hitachi and dmus 166s 165 -158 cross country stop and pass the station. I did have a good look round got a map which is posted on Facebook which you can walk to Bristol Parkway as 7029 stopped at Bristol Parkway and when it departed you could use it tooting its whistle. The only thing i could not get because of a high fence was a MOD.

I've noticed that some freight trains goes through the platform and nice to see another difference named Freightliner Class 66 which was City of Doncaster.
