I think their awesome considering the $350.00 to $450.00 price.The necks are great, I would just swap out the Jackson stock pick ups, and the Jackson Floyd. If not an original floyd, then a floyd 1000 isnt bad at all. The pick ups would be preference to what style you play. Metal - Emg's, Seymour Dunkin black winter set, it goes on and on.🤘🤘 just Frankenstein it out!!

just got one of those 4 months ago . . it is great value . the only issue i had it had a lot of neck dive .. had to change the strap button in the neck to the back of it . .where the plate meets the body . . that's where the rest of kellys have that strap button .. Jackson should have solved this .. before the change guitar was really unconfortable to play standing . . after the fix now plays like a charm

I agree! I have the JS12 strat and it's great!! Basically the only difference between JS12 and JS32 is the neck (and shark inlays)! Former has fully slim neck, but latter has a compound neck! There's fans for both necks. I haven't tried the compound, so I can not comment. But the JS12 reminds me of the Ibanez neck, which I love!

great review man! Is it possible to change amps between 2 scenes (not just changing the parameters)? without adding another amp block. example... scene 1 is for crunch amp Petrus Crunch and scene 2 Petrus Lead
@DanielKraemerMusic10 күн бұрын
With the current fw it's not possible to change amps or effects within the same block when switching scenes...only the settings.Maybe they'll add that feature with later fw. But you can chose an amp model, that works for crunch, rhythm snd lead with different settings....🤔🤗😉
@noryem10 күн бұрын
@@DanielKraemerMusic sigh.. was really looking into that feature. That would be awesome if it can be added on next firmwares. I think that could save some major dsp memory 😁 Great idea though with using a versatile amp that can do high gain and decent cleans 😁

There you have the truth folks. But when I see the gear charts you just can't stop believing that epensive is better. This biz is mostly hype, makes some vultures rich and frustrates masses of musicians.
@DanielKraemerMusic12 күн бұрын
Yes, the price of something isn't always related to quality or features...people are paying a lot for brand names, import taxes and advertisement (e.g. YT). Plus if something is hyped or prominent in the YT world doesn't mean, it's necessarily good quality and justifies a high price.

Hi my friend! How are you? The thing it sounded good to me with the 3rd party IR. Amps are basically some models from the GE200, but the cabs are a little weaker IMHO. Summer over here is very rainy...but other than that ok ;-).

@Daniel Krämer greetings! I would be buying a multi-effect for the first time. So can you still give a review which one would you prefer me to buy among these two? Also I'm open for suggestions from any professional or user of these models. Thanks in advance.
@DanielKraemerMusic16 күн бұрын
Thanks for your question! I'd say, it depends on what you need... the GP200 is way more flexible in a live situation, as it comes with 8 programmable footswitches. It also has Midi i/O and it is easy to use (e.g. getting good tones is easy without much tweaking). The Pros of the NUX are, that the effects sound much better and it comes with the scenes feature. But it's a unit, that needs much tweaking, until you get good results. Probably the hardest one. My personal first recommendation would be the Hotone ampero 2 stage. That unit has great tones, almost like the high end modeling units (QC or Fractal). Another unit that is really powerful and flexibel in a live situation is the Mooer GE300. But with all of these units, you'll get the best tones if you'll get my preset packs, that's for sure ;-) Cheers!

Very helpful video. Thinking of buying this. I like having an acoustic that plays like an electric. It sounds nice on the video through the Axe Fx with the reverb/chorus and delay. I use the Line 6 Helix with a Charvel Guthrie with my band but we may do some acoustic gigs. I love my Taylor 814ce but this Ltd TL6 looks so cool and if it is easy to play like an electric, it may fit acoustic rock music well.

After a closer look at the Fusion, the new ST-Modern have disadvantages: - a bridge that requires building new habits for palm muting - non staggered tuners that require string trees - butterfly string trees (the Fusion have roller string trees and the staggered tuners probably make them redundant) - Strat'-style hat-knobs that make pulling for coil split unpractical
@DanielKraemerMusic21 күн бұрын
These are all legit points IMHO. Spec-wise I still prefer the Fusion, but I'd like to give the neck a try. Wonder if it feels different with the round edges and the coumpound radius.

The more expensive flame-top models have a modern ergonomic access cut around the neck joint but not the others.

Having a longer bridge plate and longer tremolo arm (similar to the Gotoh T1802 on Ibanez AZ Prestige line), the fulcrum/pivot will definitely feel different.. more responsive, so you don't have to move your hand as much to recreate the same tremolo effect. It's physics. I'm not sure about the block size compared to the Wilkinson one, but the Wilkinson block size/weight is definitely the weakest point. I completely transformed mine by simply super glueing a 2$ piece of galvanised steel to add some mass and weight. Tone, sustain and tuning stability MUCH improved.. it's night and day!
@DanielKraemerMusic21 күн бұрын
That sounds interesting....never thought about that. To me, the Wilkinson bridge feels and souns very good. The only problem I've experienced is, that the high e string somewho tends to break. At least more often than with the FR.

Hi great video! Do you think I can get this kind of acoustic sim sound with a hollowbody ibanez as 53 plugged into the nux ? thanks!
@namesurname540923 күн бұрын
My main concern with the new HB model is this fancy Babicz bridge. Strings look sort of recessed so i suspect that the bridge might get in the way depending on playing style. I prefer to put the side of my palm directly on the bridge for palm muting, but with the new bridge my hand will no longer push on strings - it will be resting on bridge saddles, with strings couple of mm lower. That will probably require some time to get used to, probably some technique adjustment too. Then again, i've never seen this bridge in person, never tried playing it, so mb i'm overthinking and it's actually super comfortable.
