I’ve gotten the check engine light twice. Once after fueling and it went away after a week (I bought a new gas cap gasket.) It just came on again after adding a quart of oil. Any idea what could be causing this?

Yes. That will also allow you to hear your turbo more. I don’t believe there’s too much performance from cold air intake on our cars but you will notice better sounds while accelerating. Thanks for the comment!

According to performance shops I've talk to, R8 coils don't make you go faster they're just red.

Thanks for the comment. No for me it was straight forward bolt on. It helped to use lube on the o-ring while installing.

Sorry for late response I’m just now seeing this video pop up on my home page but most likely that spoiler is off eBay it’s like $150 I bought a carbon fiber spoiler similar To this it was $157 total for my Audi A4 b8 and it looks and fits amazing makes my car look a lot more aggressive.

TheGoldenTheory it’s full custom. Starts with CTS test pipe, then it’s 3inch all the way back with a vibrant muffler and vibrant resonator.

Jacob Johnson got it, currently left at my buddies shop getting installed. I don’t know how light or hard to torque the bolts so I wasn’t comfortable installing it. I’ll grab my A4 tomorrow hopefully. Hoping to hear some good sounds. I need a lot less whooshing than your set up as this is my family car 🙈🙈 driving my 2015 Si tomorrow while I wait for my A4 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Update: no extra sounds to be heard. 100$ on install 60-80$ for the part can’t remember. It was a waste of money.

STiG you might not be able to hear it too well without the upgraded intake. But you’re turbo is for sure breathing more freely now. Sorry I didn’t note what the bolts should be torqued to.

Jacob Johnson no worries! Your video is absolutely perfect bro! I’m not disappointed because I plan to do other stuff bro, but it alone it is hard to tell in traffic and all but at night time when it’s quiet I definitely notice a symphony. People outside of my car definitely hear the difference and if your A4 is a family car and you wanted something slightly extra it would be perfect to only have the turbo exhaust delete. Can someone explain the difference between this and a diverter valve? And is the turbo muffler delete basically like a blow off valve just the name for Audi’s?

The Turbo Muffler is connected to the turbo, the air leaves the turbo through the "Turbo Muffler" and throught those hose into the intercooler etc. A blow off valve (or in this audi's case a Diverter valve) comes just after the turbo muffler but along the same pipe connecting to intercooler. The audi OEM turbo muffler has vents in it (causing air turbulence and reducing turbo noise, and softens the air flow), the turbo muffler is a straight pipe allowing for more solid air flow from the turbo to the intercooler. at some point in that system there is the diverter valve and because of the harder, more solid air flow, that is where you get more turbo noises. That is what I have seen and read on mine ( audi a4 b8 ) but please correct me if I am wrong. Great Video BTW !

Joshua Carey I have installed a blow off valve and a cold air intake I can hear the turbo noises now. If I was to get the turbo muffler delete would it make the turbo noises even louder? Or would it not make a difference?
