Thank you for your assistance. I recently acquired a refurbished Vitamix Explorian blender and encountered an issue during my initial use. The smoothie I prepared became quite hot, and I am concerned that I may have inadvertently made an error. I believe I may have operated the blender at a high speed, as I was uncertain about the appropriate speed setting for blending a smoothie.

As someone who visited in México those “nachos“(?) are tearing me apart. Mexican food isn’t that great in the UK, you rather should’ve tried Indian cuisine.

95% arch firms will give you : 1-mediocre salary (You can afford to buy a home is less likely to start a family 2- ( some firms doesn’t provide benefits) 3-They want you to do free overtime (if you don’t , they will look at you as a mediocre ( because you have standards) “ We will buy you pizza but stay all night slave “😂 4- you are not the designer = this means is not your project , your creation= zero satisfaction. Imagine spending around 5 to 10 years like this . If u get the licenses that doesn’t mean you will succeed. If you are ok with all I have mentions , is ok to study arch.

Having an independent life is hard, you are definitely a bigger risk taker than i am, I'm 23 and i still live with my parents and still need 2 years to finish architecture school.

I like how Bartlett have Meng that COMBINED architecture and engineering. Even though it considered a UNDERGRAD degree( since it a entry degree that is four years instead of one or two years. And it accredited by BOTH architecture and engineering accreditation bodies in UK .

I also like how English universities DON'T require you to take general education classes AGAIN in college not just high school. Although I heard Scottish universities DO require general education classes ( although not as extensive as US universities).

I agree with a lot of these things but working in an office myself I would say it's alot harder to climb to be considered "Higher Up or Higher Esteemed" Alot just stay as architects that draft and coordinate. Idk I wouldn't consider it easy - might depend on firm and country though

Fear is a feeling to remind you ur situation rn isnt good it doesnt mean it can never be good breath and remind ur self that you are capable of achieving success and greatness but it requires sacrifices in ur health wealth and time a dedication to staying steadfast in ur long hard journey of life seeking the truth to reality even if its a bitter pill to swallow i fear drowing but i fear more saying no to the opportunity of riding the sea and traversing through the oceans and seeing the world fear is a motivator stay glorious glory somtimes the beauty is within the chaos

Hi, Glory! I want to study architecture, as an international student from a West African country. I've already done one bachelor's course in a subject that's totally unrelated to architecture (agriculture), but I really, really want to do this. My concern is that I have almost no experience with anything related to architecture apart from my own fantasy drawings and interest in the subject. It seems like everything is very technical from the very beginning so I was wondering if it's possible for someone like me, with no technical knowledge, can even gain admission to a school for this course, let alone succeed in it.

I just wanted to let you know that I truly admire your courage, strength, and determination to follow your purpose. To be honest, when I first started watching this video, I was a bit skeptical because you mentioned that you quit architecture. However, as I continued to listen, I realized that I feel the same way as you do in every category you mentioned, including the corporate ladder ingrained in the architecture field. This realization initially surprised me because when I was growing up, I always believed that architecture was about freedom, flexibility, and true expressionism. Now, I see this as an opportunity. The skills we acquire and refine in architecture school are incredibly valuable and can be applied to a variety of creative industries. It is possible to innovate and break new ground with these skills, challenging traditional structures and inspiring others to do the same.

ive been doing this for 20 years, and have worked for 4 different firms now. im licensed and let me just say shes not wrong. Architecture is CRUSHING. you get in tons of debt, you have to take years to complete your internship and get licensed on top of the years in college, and then you take years to "work up the corporate ladder" and it comes at the cost of having to focus on your personal life and starting a family or being married to the profession. a LOT of the higher ups are miserable, divorced, stressed, unhealthy. im not trying to scare anyone but im trying to be honest and realistic about what you are getting into. add to that that this job is like 90% sitting at a computer all day, being pigeon holed, or not taken seriously when you are young, or when your middle aged your now invisible and still not taken seriously. a lot of your success in this profession is based on who you know and being extroverted, it can be very competative. and to top all that off you dont make a lot. i say all that to say this: i love design, i love 3d modeling and rendering and the whole process of building and constructing a building, HOWEVER if i knew what i know now after 20 years i wouldnt have gone this route. ive burnt out on two different occasions and its come at the cost of my personal life. and the truth is that in a firm of 50, maybe 5 get to design....and they are usually the ones that are there the longest. that is the reality of the field and that school does a very poor job of preparing you for. id rather come across overly critical than overly postive because you already get that pie in the sky out look from college and not enough honesty about what this profession is like for MOST people. of course there are always exceptions to the rules but ....they are exceptions.
