Wow this was such an interesting video! I’m surprised they didn’t know to keep the cells covered with distilled water. I’m always so anal when it comes to that and I run a minuteman e20 Sport
@rico76Ай бұрын
Easy fixes. New cord 14/3 type. Rubber gloves and a blade and stiff wire toothbrush will clean the roller right up. If you're super anal like me, you can wipe down the brush with an alcohol dampened rag and the machine exterior. I think you know all this and this was just a document vid of an employee not maintaining equipment and not reporting safety issue?

Typically zero maintenance from staff I encounter. No accountability at all. I see it everyday here at the Las Vegas hotels and resorts.
@rico76Ай бұрын
@kurdtm1147 yikes! Hey I'm a Vegas native, haha. Part of my biz is commercial cleaning (very small scale), and I'm not surprised at all at the lack of any kind of preventative maintenance people do on their equipment. Especially the $4K vacs and the 5-6k+ extractors and the maintenance is actually super simple on those beasts. Cool vids you got on the neglected units, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on one of those 28" vacs and was just seeing what YT folks had to say on them. Seems like they are built like tanks and perform super well as long as basic pre and post checks are done on it. I like that the paper bags can be used too, those shake out bags always seem gross to me, but I guess they could come in handy with certain types of debris that could rip through the bag or if there wasn't a lot of fine dirt involved. Anyway, thanks!
@rico76Ай бұрын
I watched more of your vids, then laughed at myself for offering my intermediate at best advice to an expert 🤣. Thanks for not dragging me through the coals on that. Also, if there's a way I could ever hire you for much smaller scale stuff let me know!

Can the squeegee assembly, be bent where it’s lower on one side compared to the other? Mine lifts up on one side and doesnt make good contact with the ground on that side, especially while turning, it seems stiff, not a lot of play.
@kurdtm1147Ай бұрын
Check to see if the squeegee mount is not bent or where the mount connects to the chassis. You may need to pull the batteries and flip the machine on its side to inspect it. See if the pin may have been disconnected.

hey nice video! I'm looking at a 28 inch sc750 rev for sale this week. I noticed the motors on these vibrate and spin different than an old school convertamatic? are the Revs reliable with the newer motor type?
@kurdtm11474 ай бұрын
There are counter weights on the motor assembly. The pad drivers will wear over time and can drop the pads. The bearings can fail if exposed to excessive water/solution but it is considered routine maintenance. There is an optional brush available for different surfaces. It’s a good scrubber for the money.

Hello..I have an advance aqua clean 18 flx that is leaking water from the bottom on top of the solenoid..any idea how to fix it
@kurdtm11474 ай бұрын
You can disassemble the solenoid by removing the the solenoid from the base. The coil then can be removed, be careful of the wires, if you want, you can unplug the wires if you open the base. You may have a hose leak from the tank. Hopefully you are handy with tools when doing this.

I've just stumbled upon your channel. I don't work in the industry that you service but I'm very interested in it. On your KZfaq channel I couldn't see an 'about me' description. A little bit of background would help others understand what it is you do and why. Watching the videos, you talk about what your doing and you sound very knowledgeable and passionate about the work. But, myself and the many thousands of viewers you'll get are not knowledgeable, we won’t know what you know. Help us understand what it is you are doing and why. I've noticed a problem (that's not exclusive at any industry) which is asking questions or asking why. Probably due to the fear of looking stupid to others. This leads to poor work, poor maintenance and loss of earnings. If you can take the time to educate others in a helpful and easy way, you'll get like after like on videos. Awesome work and I'll do my best to like videos!

@kurdtm11479 ай бұрын
Your charger may be questionable. Your power cord to the pigtail must be checked for 110v. If good, watch LEDs on the charger. Once powered on, you should see a solid red LED and see voltage rise. Also, on a 24vdc system, the total voltage must be 12vdc or greater or the charger will not operate. There are other variables but check those first
