I know both those guys! Yeah I was dressed ok for the expected weather and duration. But the long wet hours at night is what did me in. It was not smart.

@@Speedospearo we are both blessed by knowing them. I remember my first trip out with Bill Thom. I looked at him and wondered what kind of diver he could be at 400 pounds. Sitting on the boat we could see Bills bubbles racing across the surface like a freight train. 20 minutes later he popped up with a huge stringer. He really knew how to slay fish.

I have never had to shoot a jewfish, a few sharks, yes but still very rare.

Thanks, I am sure the shark could hear my bubbles and hear the scooter, but it just seemed to have no interest in me. I was concentrating on trying to get the best video I could as it swam.

Saw my one and only free diving the spillway in the Chagres River.

I've heard about them dying. I have only seen them maybe 10-12 times before at various locations in the general area. They are pretty rare.
