Hi, do you know if you can seal coffee bags and aluminium bags?
@HappyHumbleHome6 күн бұрын
I have never tried that personally but I do believe people have done it. I don’t know why it wouldn’t seal since it’s just a heat seal.

I too am trying to grow potatoes in a container this year. Instead of adding more soil i am using *dried* grass clippings, leaves, etc I started rather late in the season. The plants are not as robust as yours. And just this week began to form flower buds. I suppose I will harvest when the plants begin to die. I do not expect much from the harvest.

If I might make a suggestion. Your kids are cute but I just want a tutorial and you talk way too much about irrelevant things. Sorry but it was annoying. You probably would get a lot more thumbs up!

What do you thik of the 10-inch tortilla press? Would it be too big?
@HappyHumbleHomeАй бұрын
It really all depends on your preference for the size of your tortilla. This particular press is an 8" one and you can roughly see how big the tortillas are.
@Katydid1Ай бұрын
Plastic produce bags work the best as liners, FYI: Don't press so hard you can snap your press handle off.

Does it masticate frozen fruit?
@HappyHumbleHomeАй бұрын
I don't believe I've ever used it on fully frozen fruit. I have on partially frozen but I would think as long as it's in smaller pieces & maybe put a little less in at a time than what you would if it was fully thawed, that it would do just fine.

I wanted to get away from HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP so, I made My Coffee creamer with i can Sweetened Condensed milk, I can of Evaporated milk, I can of Coconut milk(i made the mistake of using GOYA and it had bits of coconut in it so...use a different brand without the bits. I also used some regular milk, and because I wanted something different in flavor, I used Butter flavoring, Rum flavoring, and some Maple flavoring, because it took that combo to get what I wanted. I like experimenting and TRY to keep it low on the cost size, (not always successful there).I've used Hazelnut, Butter Pecan so far, lol I'm not done experimenting yet!

Grinding your own grain opens the door to more healthy grains for your family. Although red wheat is most common in the US, it is a high glycemic food which was bred to be prolific, and to discourage rodents with its phytotoxins. Much lower glycemic grains with less phytotoxins can be found in ancient grains, available as in Kamet, Einkorn, Spelt, Emmer, and other very useful and high fibers, such as Barley. Barley is even more healthy than oats. All these can be combined with not only an eye for taste, but also with an intent for health. It is sobering to discover that the average person in modern life receives about 15 to 18 grams of fiber per day. Nutritionists quote a need for 30 to 50 grams per day, while researchers are discovering that more than 50 are needed. The problem, is that although we do not find much nutrition from all that fiber... what actually helps digest our food, and provides about 90% of our immunity, and building blocks for or inner biochemistry, does need that fiber to live... and being the little buggers that they are... if you do not feed them.. then... instead of not only keeping you alive...they will then have to start eating parts of you for them to say alive..... ie protective linings, and then backstrokes in the circulatory system..ie: leaky gut.. no kidding... hence the general background inflammation which eventfully precipitates all sorts of modern ailments around "retirement". As the dawning awareness that preparing healthy food, translates into food as medicine...it does not take much to see a looming irony in the lucrative treating of symptoms, with little regard to primary causes, or even cure. also being pandered as "medicine" to the unsuspecting . The Standard American Diet...S..A...D.. is just that, and sadly allows , with time, us to see our selves and even worse, our loved ones.... needlessly suffer.. It is our choice.. to put the money aside to eat healthy, ... or to put the money into outrageous medical bills for chronic care, down the road. At 75, i am trying to encourage everyone to take charge of their own health. early enough for it to matter... most doctors have little training in nutrition, Pharmaceuticals and Big Food focus on profit, as does "Medicine" , and consequence is often shrouded in over the hill.. and far away. ..with jangly cute commercials followed by the most terrifying side effects, in a most nonchalant inconsequential way... You do realize you're using dry measuring cups to measure the milk right? It's not going to be accurate because you didn't use a liquid measuring cup.
