So we never found out where Bing went when he decided not to pretend they were filming the ending again.

This has been my favorite Christmas movie for over 55 years or so. This year I introduced it to my Army son-in-love! He, and our daughter (who had a traumatic brain injury) watched it in total attention!! No phones just family, it was lovely. Even though our daughter saw this movie almost every year in our home growing up, she didn’t remember the movie so it was new to her once again❤️ One thing I had forgotten was the way the combat seen went.. As the movie opened with that. I had concerns as our s-I-love was on the last plane out of Afghanistan and he is a medic. (Lots of PTSD with him now sadly) . I really think the movie connected well with him and the joy of being home for Christmas ❤️

Ms Clooney 's comments at 11:15 about Ms Head placing that brooch on the backside of her black dress were hilarious . I have to view that scene again because I hadn't noticed that before ! Perhaps Ms Head was the unknwing inventor of the " tramp stamp " in 1954 .

White Christmas was an evergreen movie that was shown on NBC movies all during the 1960s like The Wizard Of Oz was shown . All during this time Crosby , Kaye and Clooney were active in show biz and were seen , but the fourth member Vera Ellen was not . I wondered who was Vera Ellen ? Later I found out . VE probably received tons of fan mail since the movie was shown every Christmas . but she did not make any appearances . Apon some research Vera Ellen was not the sole star of any musical not unlike Jane Powell singing musicals , or even Ann Miller dancing musicals when the movie musicals were phased out do they their movie careers . Even Esther Williams who was the leading lady in her swimming movies could survive being a staraight dramatic actress .

I loved this movie & my family watched it every year it was on TV. And we would sing along with each & every song as we knew then so well. Sometimes my mother & I would harmonize as she sang soprano & lead & I tenor. Those were the days & I miss them all so well & the people too.

I just found this but I have to tell you you’re absolutely right. I’m sitting here watching White Christmas again for probably the 200th time and sometimes I watch it in the summer. Sometimes I watch it in the spring but there’s no movie quite like it. It’s amazing and it’s just such a warm heartwarmingmovie that we all need. Thanks for sharing this behind-the-scenes view.

Considering Rosemary Clooney was a singer and not really an actress, she did damn well in White Christmas, her almost entirely natural delivery made watching her performance an absolute thrill.

This was the first picture I saw in a theater. I was 7 and my mom, dad, brother and sister walked to our neighborhood theater in the dark a few days before Christmas. I go to a theater that shows Christmas movies through December and I love remembering a perfect family memory.😅

I was watching a bit of White Christmas today and this brought me back to those days when we were children helping our parents prepare our Christmas dinner while watching a rerun of White Christmas on tv. My dad was the chef and he prepared a feast for us for all the holidays, Christmas most especially. Dad passed away nearly 7 years ago and remembering that time so long ago is so special. It brings smiles and tears to me. Thankfully, our mom is still with us. We treasure every moment with her. God bless our mom and dad for everything they've done for us. They taught us so much about kindness and giving. We're so proud of them both.
