I did sub, just because i think that many people deserve to hear wagakki band. It is something else than any other bands. I would say its most unique band i have ever heard. And very productive one too, they have so many songs and almost all of them are very good ones. I found it few years ago and i havent listening much of anything else since. Yuko is so awesome, they all are. My favorite instrument is shakuhachi (bamboo flute). Also i must say that the way they build these songs is brilliant. It really is. If only one person would contribute in these songs he or she would be similar genius like Mozart or Beethoven. If i understand it right, its they team effort how they put songs together. Maybe they all are that level geniuses?

Saw them open for The Warning - a bit less polished in stage presence, but excellent musicians and Moriah is killer on lead vocals. “Hate” is their biggest radio hit to date, and they do a spot-on cover of Heart’s Barracuda. They recently toured with Disturbed, so moving up in the Rock world. 👍😎

If you check whether the picture and sound quality of the videos are good, why not switch on the camera at the same time to check whether it still records correctly? In this way you can make a reaction directly without first seeing anything from the video outside the reaction and taking away the surprise. c(; Beside that, good reaction and it's nice that already the second song from this great band is on your channel.

why is none of the reactors talking about the role of mushrooms in this clip? this is the same message about how psychedelic mushrooms lead to the awakening of humanity from sleep in the matrix.

Ding Ding Ding! Coincidentally, as of now (2024-07-17) the latest music video on the official BABYMETAL channel is ... Doki Doki Morning (Live performace) from their latest Blu-ray release :) Seeing both versions side by side really shows, how far they have come, and how incredible popular this song is with THE ONE, still being played at concerts to this day. 🦊🤘

Kanami would be well suited as a classical composer. She usually writes Band-maid songs on piano before converting them to guitar. There are a few videos of her playing some BM’s songs on piano floating around. If your interested BM did an all acoustic Christmas dvd a few years ago. (I really liked it, but I like acoustic music a lot, so it may not be your cup of tea). The “of wind and wine” song that was previously mentioned in the comments, is BM’s version of “green sleeves” and was written for a video game you can download on your phone. (It really is a very good rendition of the song). So.. I wrote all that to say, I have an idea for a video for you. Kanami and Saiki did a live acoustic version of the song “puzzle”. Kanami played an acoustic guitar and sang backups while Saiki belted out one of the most emotional female vocals I’ve ever heard. My “Video idea” is to do a comparison of the official “puzzle” video, to the live acoustic video. It would be a change of pace for you, and it would give you a little insight to the depth of ability BM rarely shows.

Thanks, great reaction. This was beautiful. 💖 I find this song even more moving: "NIGHTWISH - The Poet And The Pendulum (OFFICIAL LIVE)", which I think tells about the coldness of this world and the cycle of reincarnation, when sometimes we go home and then we end up here on planet earth again as part of the cold machinery. - Of all the music in the world, I enjoy Nightwish the most. It is something quite transcendental. 💖🌌🕊

Late reply, but maybe this will help. This is Lisa-X’s band. Originally known as Li-SA-X band, it was renamed KOIAI after the former vocalist Rina left and was replaced with Kotono. Lisa is currently 19, but has playing guitar since about 3 to 5 years old. She is another Japanese prodigy. Hazuki has been supporting Lisa for around 7-8 years. I may be off on the dates, but a few years before Nemophila formed. She is sometimes referred to as the older sister to Lisa as she simply supports and possibly advises Lisa. Hazuki was about 28 at the time of the recording. Wakazaemon was a support bass player for this concert. She currently performs with East of Eden and Marty Friedman. Kanade Sato was officially added to Koiai last fall. She is yet another former child prodigy, but probably in her 20’s now. I don’t recall. Nice reaction.

Love this band so much and they share my favourites playlist with Nightwish, Ayreon, SleepToken, Lorna Shore, Bloodywood, Queen, Orbit Culture, Slaughter to Prevail 😊 why not The music video’s are amazing and so are the live concert video’s, the BTS and Vlog’s the rhythm guitarist Pascal Schillo has a video production company with his brother Oliver (Schillobros.) and they do most of their mv’s plus many other bands of course. By the way the band and crew also are just really lovely people 🩷🩵💛💜❤️

Lovely commenting again grandad, you got this! You got the feels, knowledge and maturity and i really appreciate your take also here. And extra hugs for appreciating Emppu, because that dude really got tunes and feelings right in his playing. He is childhood friend with Tuomas so he knows all the backing ideas and feelings behind this song. So like you hinted, this could maybe explain his extraordinary posture here.

I get tears in my eyes every time I listen to this song! I can understand what Tuomas went through...as a lot of artists go through times of being deeply depressed or just unsure of what they do is actually meaning anything to anyone. Even at 66 years old,, I sometimes feel that what I put down on my canvases doesn't mean anything to anyone.

Can't go wrong with EC! They do referr to the music videos of their most iconic songs during the live shows (costumes, wigs, 'dance' moves...) so it sometimes might be confusing to watch a live version without knowing the ov. We Got The Moves has become one of their most popular songs and the live show videos of it are great, especially the "Live 2022" or the "Live in Denver, CO US Tour 2023". Parasite is one of the more serious songs, the music video is made of live footage over the studio audio.

Floor sings here as she normally do,like a siren of paradise but like to point also that how she moves, like she tells story not just singing but also her with body...She really is extraordinary talented. When you mentioned Finnish culture, concerning that boy and swan on backgroud of the stage,it is from old Finnish mythology. When human dies,he or she, need to cross River Of Death and for each human there is swan for waiting to guide human over the river, to the better world. An old precept says that you should never kill a swan becuse that bird is your guide over the River Of Death....And with out guide you can not reach opposite shore.

@@ecbftl Not sure about that but Tuomas is using now and then things from "Kalevala" at lyrics. Example "Elvenjig & Elvenpath" (LIVE IN BOGOTA) is partly story of the ancient gods(From Kalevala). Here is Wikipedia page in English: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalevala It is quite funny how old mythology and modern time is mixed in real life. Hometown of Nightwish is Kitee/Joensuu and around there where/is "Karjalan laulumaat" (Singing province of Karjala") and there also Floor lived some time. Maybe after 500-years Kalevala has got part 2 where is story how Goddess of Rock came to Singing Province from land of many windmills and started to sing like so that even animals in forest were enjoying. Here short video how all started, from Kalevala to the modern days: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fs2ki6-TvrO7oZ8.html

Well, they are professionals. They are silly and goofy most of the times, but they know exactly what they are doing and are great and talented musician. They say they consider themself as a live band. Every song is made for playing live. The funny videos is for those who can't go the concerts. And, well, maybe also for reactors like you... "Pump it" or "Hypa, Hypa" would be a great follow-up.
