Matilija has a KZfaq channel I watch to keep up to date on his ship content. He has many great habs, plenty of windowed habs, stairs, ramps, and animated weapon bays. He made the best bridge and even added bathrooms.

Was waiting for this update! The invisible wall thing is a wonky hitbox thanks to Bethesda's stay-old engine. Lol The Captain's 2x2 and the 3x3 engineering are from the previous update though, I think, I've been using both for a few days now. Great showcase! :)

I love this mod but i think it's level of detail was so extravagant that it bogged my game down on xbox series x. Probably fantastic on pc. Great job by this mod author! ❤

on his channel, matilija said he's worked to keep the file sizes down as much as he can but he can't reduce the 2x2 battle stations any more than he has - it works ok for me (even on my ailing pc lol) but I can't use his engineering 3x3 hab when you install the engineering modules in it - it nearly breaks my game lol. probably works fine on a better rig than mine

I had that happen to me falling from outside into the cockpit. That has been a very common issue with cockpits, even some vanilla ones.

i am starship design 4. is there a player rank i need to be? the cockpit in the ship builder shows the other cockpits from matilija aerospace (SM370, etc...) - but the new one is not even listed in the shipbuilder - greyed out or otherwise. its literally not even there. Plus, on the creations mod for his mod, there is no "Update" ability. I am playing on PC, not Xbox- could that be it?

I have a problem if not using vanilla cockpit, the crew i have never enter the cockpit. I have the problem on derretech cockpits, does this still happen with this cockpit?

Some of my crew members were inside the cockpit, some seating some standing and Sarah walked out using the ramp.

I think in the future, bethesda could introduce the concept of mother-ship. I mean, the main ship could stay in space and smaller ships would arrive and depart from it. Just like star wars ship. pretty much like a space station, but with engines... I really hope the game remain receiving updates and new DLC's, That modders could have more freedom of creations and that instead of bethesda start working in a different game, it starts to improve and enlarge the galaxy with new planetary systems or even the possibility to jump to another galaxy altogether. There is so much potential to starfield that can be explored that it can be the most incredible space game ever created, but they need to invest on new ideas for it.

I installed a mod that removes the ship build size limit.... i just finished building my own colony ship! I think you're right & they'll keep working on/expanding starfield indefinitely. So much real estate to be filled out!

They did though. Many modders from Skyrim worked on Starfield. The Hopetech habs and our outpost habs were made by a famous Skyrim modder.

I'm still using it. No stick drift yet. But the right trigger has a little squeaky spring noise. Can't hear it when actually playing games.

He makes really nice ship parts. Only suggestion is handrails on the upper deck. Always bothers me when I see platforms with no handrails. Must be OSHA compliant. 😁

not liking the style of for example the gun surrounds look massive. As for cockpit - I dont like the repetition of the computer stations below and I dont like the cockpits just overlapping and floating... We dont have anti-gravity in the game to work like this and they need strucktures - would prefer if he made 2 levels but, at least something to hold them up for immersion. Its like fallout when people build a house off 1 ladder attached to 1 foundation... bs imo.

Yes, it definitely took me longer than Avontech to learn the parts. But it does have potential for some cool design. I'm trying to do another one, hopefully better than this build.
